Rosenthal, Stein and Associates Predatory Lending Collection Atlanta , Georgia

Today we received a call from Agent Edward Underwood of Rosenthal, Stein and Associates. He represented himself as an agent for the law firm of Rosenthal, Stein and Associates and stated that he is contacting us before the firm files charges on behalf of MMG Holding and CMG Holding against my son for check fraud and theft of services for 2 small payday loans my son took out in 2008 or 2009.

While my son did take these loans out from these predatory lenders and does owe the money, there was no fraud involved as my son was working at the time he took the loans.

During my conversations with "Agent"Underwood, I asked a few times whether Rosenthal, Stein and Associates was an actual lawfirm or a collection agency. "Agent" Underwood, stated several times that they are a lawfirm.

First off. he mentioned the FBI a couple times and making himself sound like an "Agent". Even the inferrance of "Agent" made me think twice like he was an actual law enforcement agent.

After investigating this "Firm" but also after paying my sons debt, I found out they are a collection agency. Beware of these tactics.
