Rose's Formal Wear Rose Tuxedo Dishonest and Rude, Stole our $$$ Ripoff Mesa Arizona

We rented a tuxedo from Rose Formal Wear for a weekend formal event in the Bahamas hosted by the large investment bank I work for, and returned it promptly (and apparently ignorantly) the day after our return flight.

When I noticed that Rose Formal Wear charged us $300.00 for not returning the suit, I assumed (add naively to the list) that they would easily be able to correct the error and refund our money. 3+ months later, we are still waiting for the refund and Rose's is asking me for "proof" that the tuxedo was returned. The employees (I think they are brother and sister) distracted by another discussion when the tux was returned, and were not focused on us as a customer at all. Then they put the tux back into stock to be re-rented to another unsuspecting customer and gleefully charged us full price. So much for this shabbily-run small business, give me someone with accountability any day.

The employees are rude, inefficient, and evidently like to take advantage of customers who do not get a notarized, time-stamped release for returning the item. Shame on me for being so naive in this day and age, but we also own a small business and realize that reputation is everything. If this were my shop I would diligently make some effort to track the item down and see if it is possibly in stock and refund the customer for the error as soon as possible (the suits must have a reference number somewhere on a tag etc.).

Please avoid this business at all costs in the future, we cannot support crooks in the valley where there are so many other options available.
