We bought a "Rousseau" watch from Rocketd on eBay. (Yeah, our first mistake...but we've learned!) It was a birthday present for our son who noticed that the hands stuck, stopping the time. Rocketd, the eBay seller, directed us to Rousseauwatches.com (myatmarket, aka always at market).

In August, we sent it in, got delivery verification that the watch was indeed received by a J Baxa on Aug 22, at 4:03 pm, and so we waited...and waited...and waited. When you submit a watch for repair, they tell you it can take up to 12 weeks. Sigh. Finally, on Nov 12, after patiently waiting the 12 weeks, we wrote and asked where the watch was.

We got this on Nov 26th: Good Afternoon, I do apologize for the lack of response on my side. We did receive your item and it is still in the repair department. Our Repair Manager has recently left on a personal emergency and has stated that she will be gone indefinitely. We are currently trying to look for a new Repair Technician.

In the meantime, we are sending the watches back to the Manufacturer to be repaired. If you would like, I will still make sure that your watch gets repaired and in addition, I will have our site manager go through our current inventory to see what watches we have available that are very similar to the one you sent in.

I can email you those options along with pictures of each one and you may choose a brand new watch. We have written three times since then, asking for an update, and they are completely snubbing us!!! It is our best guess that they have either A. Lost the watch, or B. Never intended to repair or replace the watch to begin with!

Do not buy from them!! Spread good Karma....spend your money ELSEWHERE ...or just throw it out the window of a moving car...at least you'll make someone happy!!

In respons to The R*** Families complaint, I would be upset if I had been treated the same way he explains. I am the new Manager of Customer Service for Always at Market and want any reader to know that we are going to make every effort to resolve any customer issue with one phone call or email. Since my being brought into this department in February of 2009, significant changes, in positive directions, have been put in place to ensure that every customer have a winning experience from the actual win of the auction to the resolution of any problem they may have with any issue. It is our commitment to the customer to provide the World Class Customer Service they deserve and that every phone call be answered by the second ring, during business hours, as well as all emails returned and resolved by the end of each business day. My intent is to restore consumer confidence in Always at Market and if you have had an unpleasant experience in the past, my request is that you would give us an opportunity to better serve you in the future. Thank you.

Wow. I am guardedly optimistic that perhaps (finally) a resolution is in the works. After over 7 months of waiting, we got the email below. I'll let you know how/if it does actually get resolved.

I am so sorry for the long, long delay in getting your issue resolved. What I would like is permission to you a new watch free of cost (Rousseau) and refund your money on your original purchase.
