Roxanne Delaney Cargo Force Canada, Gabriel Huber Bolton, UK Craigslist Scam Internet

I saw an ad on Craigslist for an ipad2 64 GB 3G Wi-Fi for $200 and inquired about it. I got an email back saying the seller, Roxanne Delaney, was now in Montreal and still had the ipad available. I asked why she was selling it for so little. She replied that she got it from work, doesn't need it and wanted to sell it. She sent photos of the ipad with original box, upc codes - partially greyed out, etc.

She emailed that she had found a shipping service called Cargo Forge that would examine the item and verify its contents, collect payment and allow for 5 days review before releasing funds to her.   She included a web site: http://www.canqc-cargoforce.com/en_language.internet.transactions/index.html

I read the web site and tried to do some internet research. I found positive reviews on some web sites for Cargo Force so I decided to proceed.  It appeared to be a UK based service used by ebay and other services around the world for this type of service and other cargo transferring.

I was sent notification that she had delivered the ipad to Cargo Force and then got a detailed email from Cargo Force stating the item had been examined and verified. I was sent detailed instructions in a pdf document to send money via Western Union. The pdf showed Western Union locations near my home address. I went to Western Union as instructed and sent the money to a Gabriel Huber, Bolton, UK and then followed the instructions to send notice that payment had been made to paymentservice@qcdepot-cargoforce.com. The Western Union payment was made on July 11th 2013.

I got an email from CargoForce@customerservice@qcdepot-cargoforce.com  telling me my payment was confirmed and shipment was confirmed. It said I should receive the ipad on Tuesday, July 16th 2013. The ipad did not come. I emailed on the 18th that I had not received the item with no response. On the 19th I started looking around on line and found information about others scammed recently by Roxanne Delaney in the same manner.  These did not show up when I initially searched because they were all so recent and the reports had just been filed.
