 You might want to check the documentation. Sassy was in fact with them for a month. 5 weeks to be exact. Text messages prove her time with royal. Doris was the one who signed for her from orlando, Doris was the one who brought her to the vet, and signed the vet papers. Her signature is on them. Doris was also listed as owner of royal at the time of this incident. Doris communicated with adopter, and transport herself, no one else. I don't need to justify anything it's all in the documentation that was provided. You can't forge that!!!

I happen to know all about the situation considering the fact I told Doris not to get involved with this transporting of a cat out of Orange county. She was in Orlando, not for sassy but for other business related to our rescue.  Doris was detained , Yes, but for someone elses neglect.  She happened to be a convenient,  quick detainment. Don't try to tell me anything--The cat was with Doris for 2 weeks, not a  month,  and not at Royal animal Rescue. If you keep Slandering Royal Animal Rescue, I will have have to take legal action. Doris does Not own Royal Animal Rescue.

 You obviously didn't read the original complaint. Royal had sassy for over a month. Transport was never to pick up from Orange county. Doris took her from there on her own and adopter contacted Doris and did adoption through Doris herself. Sassy was sick through royal, not transport, she only travelled too miles before transport was delayed to get her to an emergency vet. It was half a day. Her spay happened weeks prior and she was under the care of royal during healing. All messages betweenroyal Doristransport and adopter were included and clearly show who is at fault. You might want to check out the county reports where Doris was arrested a year ago for animal cruelty where they found lots of dead animals. I don't even need to keep writing.

Doris White of Royal Animal Rescue recieved a phone call about a cat that was adopted out of Orange County Animal Services.  The call was to pick up a cat named Sassy who was adopted and ready for travel.

After the pick up, Doris was advised to travel to a pickup spot in Orlando, in which she  traveled and waited , Doris was to give  Sassy,  the cat , to her transporter who was to take the cat as the first leg of a mission out of state. 

Well the transporter never showed up and Doris was forced to take the cat and board at her house, for about week.

I was at the rescue when these people showed up , not identifying who they were or what their business was. All they asked me was if I had a cat and they were going to pick one up. I told them they needed to make an appointment , Then they pipe up about a cat from Orange county Animal control , in which I had no knowledge of.  They parted ways as I watched them leave.

Under the orders of the Hernando Animal control and Doris, I  was not  allowed to let any visitors  on the property, without proper authorization or an appointment.

Upon further investigation , The transporter  corresponded with Doris. Making a long story short.

Doris took Sassy to the Vets to make sure she was capable of the travel, knowing she was spayed.  The vet cleared the cat for travel and Doris parted with the cat to the first transporter.

The transporter received all the necessary paperwork and the clearance from the vet for travel. 

After Sassy left, we at Royal Animal Rescue have no idea the how, what, where, when or why of Sassy. It was the first transporters responsibilty and not Royal Animal Rescues --for the care of Sassy the cat to the second leg of her travels. 

Obviously they did not take care of a cat that was spayed.  For all we know she (Sassy) could of been caged for days with no food, water and laying in her own feces for that matter.

Royal Animal Rescues animals that are going to be euthanized hence the word rescue--We are not a transporter, boarding house or vet. You can not  just drop off your pet to the rescue.  We have laws and channels that must be followed.

Doris out of the kindness of her heart was doing Sassy and her new adopted parents a favor --Otherwise we could of refused this type of request because this is out of the realm of our mission. 

These people who are trying to discredit Doris or Royal Animal rescue don't seem to understand that we are very busy and tend to the lively hood of our animals.  To schedule us as a transporter for their selfish purpose may cause us to miss picking up food and supplies or miss a vet appointment for our animals. We have dates, times, and responsibilities that must be met.  If they were so interested in the lively hood of Sassy then why did they neglect picking up Sassy themselves. 

We are a rescue, we nourish, rehabilitate, play,love and comfort abandoned animals, then we try to find them forever homes.  If the home doesn't work out, we take the babies back.  

I feel Royal Animal rescue was dumped on, for someone elses neglect. Anybody can take pictures, post a story , show correspondance via there phone in this case meeting up with the transporter and point blame after the fact.  Sometimes its to divert blame away from themselves.
