Here is my story:

On April 12, 2010, when we were staying at the Hotel Grand Oasis Playa, located at 60 Ave Kukulcan, 77500 Cancun, Qintana Roo, Mexico. Zona Hotelera, Cancun, we were invited (my commitment and I) to a breakfast so that we talk about the benefits of being members of the Royal Holiday Club. Later we went to the sales office where we received the Lady Marilu Vargas and Mrs. Ruth Vazquez (Finance Manager). After lengthy negotiations we agreed to be members of the club and accept the membership of Royal Holiday. After the signature of the contract receive welcome gifts (dinners free of charge, romantic cruises on the lake, a vacation in Cancun, free of charge) and a toast.

48 hours later after a detailed reading of the contract, advice from my lawyer and a thorough Internet search about Royal Holiday decided to go back to the hotel sales office and cancel the membership personally in accordance with the terms of the contract Page (3 / 4) the clause number 11. which clearly mentions that the same can be canceled within five (5) business days for signature as Mexican law by filing an application and returning the documents to the room sales.

The cancellation was requested in person on April 14, 2010 (48 hours after the signing), Mrs. Ruth Vzquez met me at the office and I ask for leave in writing the reasons why the contract canceled. The notice of cancellation was successful and was delivered personally to Mrs. Ruth Vazquez.

Then I demanded a receipt but it promised me an "official notice" of cancellation by Royal Holiday in my room. I insisted that he needed proof of cancellation as well as proof of my credit card refund at the time but Mrs. Vargas insisted he did not worry me that my money will be refunded within 14 days, and that the cancellation was made and again insisted that I would get an "official notice" to my room.

All the gifts were returned in the sales office at time of cancellation, 24 hours later I again communicated with my office demanding cancellation notice which still needed "a signature" that would get me later. The next day contact with Ms. Vargas again but I was informed by telephone that she was not in the office. Unfortunately I had to return to the United States that day, explaining the urgency of my situation over the phone but again the members of the sales office of Royal Holiday insisted me not to worry that everything was canceled and would be refunded the amount within 14 days .

Back in the U.S. I have tried countless times to contact Royal Holiday but give me a favorable response. Mrs. Ruth Vasquez and Ms. Marilu Vargas have not responded to any of my calls, e-mails or faxes. My bank also contacted Royal Holiday no favorable response.

Since then my company Chase Bank and VISA are the company struggled with Royal Holiday. My process is still in dispute.

I make this public to avoid denuencia Royal Holiday discredits the United Mexican States, a country as beautiful in its geography in addition to its important archaeological sites, such as Royal Holiday is doing, because in the Internet (Yahoo and facebook groups) there is a group more than 500 people have been scammed by Royal Holiday and are trying to recover his money, but unfortunately it is preferable to recommend that tourism in other countries and to relate to Mexico with these fraudulent companies.


Aqui va mi historia:

El 12 de abril del 2010, cuando nos encontrbamos hospedados en el Hotel Gran Oasis Playa, ubicado en 60 Ave Kukulcan, 77500 Cancn, Qintana Roo, Mxico. Zona Hotelera, Cancn, fuimos invitados (mi comprometida y yo) a un desayuno para que se nos hablara de los beneficios de ser miembros del Royal Holiday Club. Posteriormente pasamos a la oficina de ventas donde nos recibio la Seora Marilu Vargas y la Seora Ruth Vzquez (Finance Manager). Luego de una larga negociacin accedimos a ser miembros del club y aceptamos la membresa de Royal Holiday. Posterior a la firma del contrato recibimos los regalos de bienvenida (cenas libre de costo, cruceros romnticos por la laguna, unas vacaciones libre de costo en Cancn) y un brindis.

48 horas mas tarde luego de una detallada lectura del contrato, asesoramiento por parte de mi abogado y una meticulosa bsqueda en la Internet acerca de Royal Holiday decidimos regresar a la oficina de ventas del hotel y cancelar personalmente la membresa acorde con lo estipulado en el contrato pagina (3/4) clusula numero 11. donde menciona claramente que el mismo puede ser cancelado dentro de los 5 (cinco) das hbiles a la firma segn las leyes Mexicanas presentando una solicitud y regresando la documentacin a la sala de ventas correspondientes.

La cancelacin fue solicitada en persona el 14 de abril del 2010 (48 horas despus de la firma), la Seora Ruth Vzquez me recibi en la oficina y me solicito dejase por escrito las razones por la cual cancelaba dicho contrato. La nota de cancelacin se realizo correctamente y fue entregada de manera personal a la Seora Ruth Vzquez. 

Luego exig un acuse de recibo pero la misma prometi dejarme una "nota oficial" de cancelacin por parte de Royal Holiday en mi habitacin. Insist en que necesitaba el comprobante de cancelacin as como un comprobante de mi reembolso de tarjeta de crdito en ese momento pero la Seora Vargas insisti en que no me preocupe, que mi dinero seria reembolsado en 14 das, que la cancelacin ya fue efectuada y nuevamente insisti en que me hara llegar una "nota oficial" a mi habitacin.

Todos los regalos fueron devueltos en la oficina de ventas al momento de la cancelacin, 24 horas mas tarde me comunique nuevamente con la oficina exigiendo mi nota de cancelacin la cual aun necesitaba "una firma" y que me la haran llegar mas tarde. Al siguiente da contacte con la Sra. Vargas nuevamente por telfono pero me informaron que ella no se encontraba en la oficina. Desafortunadamente yo tenia que regresar a los Estados Unidos ese da, explique la urgencia de mi situacin va telefnica pero nuevamente los miembros de la oficina de Ventas de Royal Holiday insistieron que no me preocupe que todo fue cancelado y que seria reembolsado el monto en 14 das.

De regreso a los Estados Unidos he intentado un sinnmero de veces contactar con Royal Holiday sin que me den una respuesta favorable. La Seora Ruth Vzquez as como la Sra. Marilu Vargas no han respondido a ninguna de mis llamadas, e-mails o faxes. Mi banco tambin a contactado con Royal Holiday sin ninguna respuesta favorable.

Desde entonces mi compaa de banco Chase Bank as como la compaa VISA estan batallado con Royal Holiday. Mi proceso aun esta en disputa.

Hago esta denuencia publica para evitar que Royal Holiday desprestigie a los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, pas tan hermoso por su geografa adems de sus importantes zonas arqueolgicas, como Royal Holiday lo esta haciendo, ya que en la Internet (Yahoo groups and facebook) hay un grupo de ms de 500 personas que han sido estafas por Royal Holiday y estn tratando de recuperar su dinero, pero lamentablemente recomiendan que es preferible hacer turismo en otros pases ya que relacionan a Mxico con estas fraudulentas compaas.

I also had a horrible experience with them. I've purchased my timeshare 3 years ago, and it's been impossible to get out. I was pressured to sign a contract, and i was also scammed, they never did what they promised. We must do whatever it's in our hands to put finish to those thieves!!! I was looking for some information about this resort and all their scam tactics, and i've found these articles that have a lot of info about them, take a look:
