Ron Gallagher, founder of R.P. Gallagher Associates, Inc., is the owner of a structural engineering firm in Oakland, CA.

What Ron does do potential employees is beyond sick. Ron's the worst interviewer anyone will ever have in their lifetime when they interview for engineering positions because he was never prepared from the get-go. He told a potential employee that he/she never did seismic risk assessments on buildings even though the employee brought the evidence to prove Ron wrong. Ron falsely told this employee they would be bored. This makes people wonder what kind of engineer Ron Gallagher really is. He's not really a professional engineer, in or opinion.

What's even worse is that Ron Gallagher performs discrimination against the long-term unemployed.  If you've been out of work for 6 months or more, you will most likely be rejected. This is because Ron allegedly has a sick and twisted belief that the longer someone is out of work, the more likely they will need more time to get reacquainted California design standards. This has been proved patently false by numerous studies done on the matter.

What Ron has failed to realize is that he has assisted the California legislature in passing a law banning discrimination against the long-term unemployed. He only has himself to blame. We bet he never imagined that his industry is being used in a bad way to get a law passed.

At R.P. Gallagher Associates, Inc., Ron didn't invent discrimination against the long-term unemployed  he just perpetrates it!
