Recently I unfortunately placed an order with Rpmoutlet over the internet. The part was a Diablo Sport Predator tuner and PC interface. After placing the order seven days went by without and email or tracking information so I decided to give them a call.


The order was placed on May 9th, 2010. Total charge was $320.99


On the eight day, May 17, 2010, I called them to ask about the status of my order. I was told the part was on backorder from the manufacturer. When I placed the order from their website it showed to be "in stock" and ready to ship.


Rpmoutlet told me it would be 2 weeks before they would recieve the tuner I ordered. I decided to cancel the order. They informed me it would be no problem to recieve a 100% refund.


I had to fill out a confusing form on their website for the refund. One day later, May 19, 2020, my credit card had been refunded for $306.00. I immediately called them to ask where the rest of my money was. They seemed understanding and that it was a typo on their part and that I would recieve the rest in a couple of days.


The remainder of the week passed and no word from Rpmoutlet. I would wait until Monday May 24, 2010 to call them again. This time they said there was a problem and that I should see it on my card in a couple of days. By this time I'm beginning to think they think I'm completely stupid and I'm not paying attention to how they are giving me the run around.


Before the end of the week I call them again on Thursday May 27, 2010. I am now being told that they are working on getting the refund back to me. I am being extremely patient.


The following week I wait until Wednesday June 2, 2010 to call. When I get customer service on the phone it's the same person I have talked to this entire time and he says he's looking into it and to call the next day. I wait and call the next day.


Thursday June 3, 2010 rolls around and I give them a call. The person on the phone states that I was told to call back at the same time I had called the day before. I was fuming at this point. All patience is gone. I tell him since he has my number to call me when it gets sorted out.


Well, something happened after I hung the phone up. I finally got pissed! I call them back and it's on. The guy on the phone is giving me a hard time about calling every five minutes and keeping him from getting me the refund. He then puts the phone down. I could tell by the sound it was set down on his desk.


He gets back on the phone and sighs like the smarta__ young fellow he is. I tear into him like I haven't done to anyone in my life! He heard every single filthy word that I knew.


I must admit I ended up hanging the phone up and left the conversation in a bad way. I lost my cool. How the hell does one NOT lose his cool when dealing with low life pieces of SH_T like Rpmoutlet!!!


I have filed a dispute with my bank and reported them to BBB. Not sure if that will do any good but it's all I have. If I the means and time I'd fly to that little hole in the wall and get my money back.
