R.S. Brooks Trucking is a small two truck corporation operating within the central Ohio area. Their notorious for hauling illegal freight in commercial vehicles that are at best, unsafe.
They have recieved several tickets by the Ohio State Patrol for various safety violation; yet they continue to operate in contradiction to Federal and State laws.
Having ran the gambit of finding reuptable and qualified drivers due to their lack of credit, unsafe equipment, and extremely low pay; they now rely primarily on drivers who's records are not sufficient to warrant acceptance by another carrier. This results in a driver fleet that lacks any professionalism, and a corporate safety records which leaves a lot to be desired.
When a more qualified driver resigns from this "outlaw trucking" company; they find some reason or another to steal that drivers final two paychecks under one pretense or another. Several Owner-Operators that have their family's house mortaged to pay for the truck, suddenly find themselves in financial difficulties while working for, and subsequently quitting this cheating company.
The owner and his son are career criminals who's criminal and civil records reflect negatively in almost every aspect, as they've been sued and convicted of multiple charges, including assault & battery on an employee/driver.
The corporation is alledgedly shielded in a six-layer shield which the falsly assume will protect them from culpability. Some of their equipment is under the owners wife {Cathy Brooks}name, while others are under different names, and different companies.
But what coould one expect from a company who's chief officers driving records are so bad that they carry mutliple drivers licesnse from different states, and use each others names to avoid prosecution.
This company, the owners, and their operating principals are a sham and a slap in the face to every respectable truck-driver in the USA.

I am a girlfriend of one of the Brooks' two remaining drivers (the other being an owner-operator). They recently filed for bankruptcy under the name of Brooks Trucking and began a new trucking company under the name "Triple B Express."
This company was started under Cathy Brooks' name in order to begin their hauling operations again, and everything that you have stated in regard to the original Brooks Trucking Company is still being done to this day. The equipment is still unsafe, they still owe two weeks of back pay to my boyfriend before they filed for bankruptcy (which they say they have not yet received from the bankruptcy proceedings), and they are still hauling illegal loads.
I have personally reported this company to the Ohio State Highway Patrol in the hopes that someone from the Department of Transportation will be able to do something about this operation. As well, I wanted to let as many people as possible know that even though R.S. Brooks is no longer in exsitence, Triple B Express is, and nothing has changed.
