Rue Educational misleading, poor accounting, made me feel terrible about myself Ripoff Clearwater Florida

I got an advertisement from Rue, saying I could get my RN associates degree cheaply and easily.
I called and spoke to a woman, who put me on a pushy payment plan. It was over $1000 for some study guides. She said that I would not need the clinical preparation videos, which normally sell for over $100.

I paid $99/mo for the study guides. The exams were so easy I didn't even need the study guides. Once I took all the exams, and paid for them, it was time for the 'final' CPNE, which involved me buying a plane ticket and staying in a hotel in Wisconsin for a few days, and paying a lot more money too.
Even though I had purchased and studied for the CPNE, I failed quickly, for reasons I had never seen documented anywhere as grounds for failing someone.

Before I could even think about taking this CPNE again, both states I could reasonably think of working as an RN in, no longer allowed Excelsior's nursing school graduates to work in their states as nurses. They said there were loopholes, but after months of trying to get word from the state boards of nursing on how to do this, and getting no decision, I gave up and went to a 'real' college instead.

I had a payment booklet for my Rue payments, I made every single payment and had proof. I also had the original contract from Rue about my payments. Over a year after I made my last payment, Rue contacted me, said I was delinquent on my payments, I sent them copies of my proof of payment in full- still they said I owed them money!

It was already on my credit report, so I gave up. I filed a dispute with the credit bureaus, but it will still always be on my credit report. I paid in full but am marked 'delinquent'!
