Rupi Inc Rupi Via Eye SerumLumidaireFace of Company; Joanna Gaines Signed me up for $90/mo membership of eye Creme when I was only buying a $4.95 "free trial" Internet

On 6/4/2017  I was reading an article about Joanna Gaines and how she's leaving HGTV to pursue a skin care line. I was so intrigued by her entrepreneurship capabilities that I thought I'd look into her skin care line. Once clicking on the link connected to the article I was taken to "via eye serum" and was offered a free sample where I only had to pay $4.95 for shipping for the lumidaire eye serum. At checkout I was offered a bonus Lumidaire Face Creme for just $4.95 more. I was excited about these products so selected add Creme. On 6/18/2017 I noticed a charge on my account for $89.77 from a company I had never heard of (RupiViaEyeSerum). I called my bank to file a fraudulent charge. I went through my emails and online history but couldn't find the site where I had purchased the eye and face Creme so I waited for the bank to complete a 60 day investigation. On 8/21/2017 ( 60 days after the initial charge was frozen) I received a 10 Page case summary from my bank where Rupi Inc sent in 5 exhibits of how the online purchase works. The $4.95 covers shipping of the product but none of it is "FREE"...after the 14-day trial $89.77 is charged to the account and every 30 days thereafter another $89.77 is charged to the same account for a monthly subscription of the face products. Why wasn't I sent a copy of this 5 page explanation of what the fine print was??? Why couldn't I find the name of the company and their website on my own!? Why couldn't I find an email address or phone number without my bank's 60 day investigation to dig up why Rupi Inc really is?? This whole site is a scam and Joanna Gaines' name is used to reel all the HGTV fans in and sucker them into a $90/mo deal without their knowledge. The bank dispute got me out of the subscription but if I didn't pay attention and let it go on more than a month, I would have been out $90/month for God knows how long. Shame on you Rupi Inc; if your products actually worked, you wouldn't have to scam customers out of their money without their knowledge using a SLY SET UP Consent- shame on you!
