I tried using my card at a gas station and it kept getting denied. I checked online and they said I had to re-set my pin number. They allowed me to add more funds. I tried at the ATM machine and it would not accept it. I was able to load more funds. When I finally called to see what the problem was, they told me that I needed to verify my information and I did that also. They told me it would take 1-2 business days and it was never unblocked. I am still trying to get my money. I am very disappointed in Russell Simmmons and Rushcard. Are they preying on disadvantaged consumers? Also like other complaintants, I continued to get India representatives and there is only one number to call.

I am sorry to say for those of you that are still waiting to get your money....keep waiting...it took me months to get my few little thousands that belong to me and that they kept telling me that they sent a check for everytime I called...I lost the lease on my apt and some more stuff...Have been looking for a lawyer but haven't found one yet...but good luck!!!!....lesson learned!!!!

the same exact thing has happened to me i faxed my documents a week ago & i still cant get to my money. .i have bills to pay & they have a large amount of MY MONEY rushcard sucks i just want to slap russell simmons for even makin a such thing smfh!

I have been with RushCard for many years. Probably since they started. Recently they UP and decided to cut me off because they didn't like the way I was loading funds to my card using Green dot money pak. I tried to explain to them that peopel buy things from me online and one of the ways I suggest that they pay me is thru Green dot. Anyway, that wasn't the issue. I have a few thousabd dollars on my Rushcard and they have been telling me for THREE months that I will recieve my money in 7 to 10 business days. I have called repeatedly and they keep telling me the same thing. They are holding MY MONEY hostage and there doesn't seem to be anything that I can do about it. I am looking for a civil lawyer now because this has become a financial nusance to me. It has really put me in the hole by not having access to MY MONEY. Rush card sucks!
