Mr. Heaton was recommended by a friend to build a entry gate for my new home. The quoted price was agreed upon for a complete job including 2 columns - entry gate - electric opener with keypad and remotes. He sold it to me as a premium system second to none. All was fine as I told him he had the job but it would be several months before I needed it but gave him a general time frame. About 2 weeks later he contacted me and told me that the controls were going to be going up the first of next month and if I wanted to beat the increase he could order them and hold it at his shop. I agreed (keep in mind he was recommended by a friend) and gave him a check for $3500.00 ..

As the time got closer for the job to be done I let him know when I would want him to start. Time came and had a real hard time with him getting the columns up and built but finally it was completed. Then next the gate and by this time I was riding him about things because we were in the house. He stated to me that the gate was built and he would be out next week to install it .. The whole time I could not get him on the phone but he did respond to his text. The next week came and he said he saw some defects in the paint and he had to fix that and then be out to install it. Well to make a long story short he never did install my gate give me openers or anything. I confronted him, once again by text only, and he told be the cost of the columns were $1200.00 and he would refund me the difference of $2300.00 as soon as he got back into town. Well over a month later and excuse after excuse there is no refund. Exhausted of dealing with this entire ordeal I have hired another company to do the job. Stay away from this guy as he is a liar and is no better than a common thief !
