Ruth Todd owner of MysticAngels Great Danes is selling Great Dane puppies and not standing behind what she sells. She also tells you that you can purchase a puppy from her and then goes back on her word. She also sells puppies out from under you. I purchased a Great Dane puppy from her and have had nothing but problems with the dog. She refuses to replace the dog or pay for any vet bills.
If anyone else out there has purchased a puppy from her and is having health issues with their dog please report her. She is giving other Dane breeders false information about her buyers also. When something goes wrong with the puppy you purchased from her she blames the buyer for the dogs issues instead of owning up to the fact that she is at fault herself being the breeder.
A good breeder would stand behind what they sell. She denies any genetic issues that arise. This is not a good breeder. This is a breeder that does not care about what she sells or who she rips off.
She is not out there to improve the breed. She is just trying to make money by selling puppies with genenic issues and not caring about what happens to the dogs or the people who bought her dogs.

You know what I find funny about this report? It's right around the time of her chocolate litter, and the lady that picked out the Chocolate Female from Ruth, was caught advertising the puppy on hoobly.com when it was only 3 weeks old! She didn't even have the dog in her possession and she was trying to sell it for more! You know how I know this? Because I was the one that inquired about the puppy on hoobly, and notified Ruth of it. We have EMAILS proving this. You say you have a dog that has genetic disorders, but you haven't been very specific. THAT'S STRANGE! Normally, when a dog has a genetic disorder, and someone is complaining, they actually give DETAILS! You have absolutely NO details in this rip off report. You were pissed that Ruth didn't sell you the chocolate female, so you could resell it for more. I *do* know that Ruth gave you the deposit back, even though you were breaching contract and you hadn't even gotten the pup yet! That's more than I would have done, or any other breeder that I know. If your dog is truly "defective", what problem is it having? What litter is it from? What parents? How old is it? Do you have proof from your vet stating the problem? What was Ruth's response when you talked to her about it? Did you purchase the dog on a contract? Come on now, be a little smarter than that. You got busted and now you're pissed. GET OVER IT!
