S & C Enterprises - Christine Travel - ebay ripoff, took payment of $3,000.00 for cruise package, never forwarded to the cruiseline Gary Indiana

I purchased a cruise from Christine Travel through ebay internet auction site on March 5, 2005. The trip was to be on the Caribbean Princess, leaving Ft. Lauderdale on June 11, 2005 for the Eastern Caribbean for a 7 day cruise, returning June 18.

On June 6, Christine emailed to say the cruise line had cancelled our trip in error. She rescheduled for the same ship and trip route to leave January 28, 2006.

On December 8, I logged onto the Princess Cruise trip site on the internet and found that my trip had been cancelled again. After no resonse to calls and emails to Christine, I called Princess Cruise Lines travel agent representative Brenda. According to her, the money I paid to Christine was never forwarded to Princess Cruises.

On the ebay site, Christine advertised as a travel agent licensed in the state of Indiana. I have discovered that Indiana does not license travel agents. A search of the Indiana state licensure bureau, planning commission and Gary city business registry has no record of either S & C Enterprises or of Christine Travel. I paid for the trip with a Postal money order. I also paid $500.00 for two round trip air fare tickets to Ft. Lauderdale which are non-refundable.

Christine misrepreseted the trip, charged $500.00 over the ebay listing, and has kept the money I paid for the cruise. She repeatedly stated that Princess Cruise line was responsible for the cancellations and reservation errors.
