Sabrina Demetro Scammed me out of $1,000 Scottsdale Arizona

I was attemping to buy a travel trailer of Craigs List (I should have known better). I came into contact with a "Sabrina Demetro" who had placed an add on CL. The add had a full listing and pictures and details about the trailer.

Having contact with Sabrina through text messaging, she and her "partner" were selling the travel trailer because of her ill daughter and could no longer camp.

I made arrangements with Sabrinia to pay her a down payment of $500 and then the next day I would pay the rest of the amount and get the trailer.

Today I met up with Sabrinia and agreed to give her $500 and that her partner was getting the $2,500, this is where it gets tricky.

I called the number to her "partner" and advised I was on my way. I met up with him, and while learning a few things from him, he had not put the add on CL, did not even know Sabrina, and only got her information from a friend who he was selling the trailer to Sabrina in the first place. 

He stated that she did not have any rights to the trailer, did not even know she posted and add on CL and never understood why she said she was coming with me to pickup the trailer when she told him that she was buying it.

Long story short, I'm out a $1,000. 

Police Report has been filed

Now looking at means of Civil suit, but I know i will never see that money again.
