Safety Enterprises They will rip you off!- BEWARE! Parma Heights, Ohio

My husband was laid off from his job in April 2009- In late June my 14 year old son found an ad for Safety Enterprises in our local paper and showed it to my husband, he contacted these people the next day and they immediately set up an interview with him the nex day but the girl on the phone would not give him specifics on what the job was about- But he went anyway- He came home the next day and showed me a brief case and these products that he had brought home- He did not tell me at the time that he unwittingly paid $165.00 on his credit card for a training kit- I would have blown a gasket and not let him done it.

I knew it was a scam from the get-go, i was afraid of what was about to transpire, but my husband talked to the so-called manager of the Parma Heights office, (Sam was his first name- dont remember his last name) and this schmoo convinced him that this was indeed not a scam, he would get paid for training, in no time he would have his own office, yada yada yada, and in no time he would be making a lot of money- This company pretty much brainwashed my husband into thinking that he would be successful at this- One problem, in order to complete the training, he had to sell $1000 worth of fire equipment and complete "Silver School" what ever that meant- The first week, he had no luck at all absoulutely none, and these people let him go to so-called silver school anyway, which consisted of a dice game- to say the least, and lunch with this crook CEO Mr. Miralia.

Then they informed my husband that in order from him to complete the training that he would have to sell $1000 of equipment, Well i made the big mistake, desperate for income and trying to scrape by on my income and our upcoming wedding, we decided to purchase a safety kit and put in on my credit card, Well, we did and then they inform him that in order for him to become an office manager that he would have to get financed $8000 for a loan in order to get started- Another guy who worked there with my husband got turned down for financing and the office manager, Sam told him that he should have put down that he was working for the company for a year- THAT IS FRAUD!!!!

To make matters worse, I got fed up and threatened to call off our wedding if he didnt quit, NOW- They were trouble, and i did not want to see my husband get screwed, So he talked to Mr. Miralia about getting a refund for the training kit, no problem he would, but NO REFUND on the equipment that we purchased ourselves, apparently you had 3 days from the date your made your purchase to get a full refund, I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT SCREWED, it was put on my credit card- He did get a refund for the $165.00 and a measly $90 check for the equipment that we bought, he goes to put the checks in the bank, we find out a week later that THE CHECKS BOTH BOUNCED!

My husband could not get a hold of Mr. Miralia at first, he would not return his calls, and finally when he did touch base with him he told my husband that someone wiped out his bank account- he would send him a personal check in about a week- Finally he did, and amazingly it cleared.

Do not have anything to do with Safety Enterprises, Thanks to them I am out $1159.00 on my credit card that they never refunded me and we have these stupid fire safety kits in 2 unopened boxes sitting in our garage!
