Beware of this company. I have sent the same airbag module to this company twice each time it was returned with a hard code still recorded in the module rendering it unusable. Despite repeated promises to refund the monies paid for the service they have not made a refund after two weeks. Despite their claim that module was defective it was sent to another company and reprogrammed and cleared in one day. The phone is answered by a Clark which passes the refund request to his so-called account manager David, which passes it to the refund manager Stephen that has no authority to refund and passes it back to Clark. Beware this is a sham operation!

They will not refund your money.  They have and F with the BBB.

Morpheus, my name is James Conway and I work as a sales rep. for Safety Restore. Your commentary was definitely filled with anger, and I think it is safe to say you weren't satisfied with our services. As I can surely understand and even relate to you, but instead of me attempting to defend the company I work for, I simply would like to share some truth. First of all, I'd like to point out that Safety Restore is a new company. "These are the new kids on the block just lookin for the come up." Your irrational point of argument comes short with what you're trying to do with your "review" if I may.

May I also refer to your writing: "And to those saying "oh its only a $40 loss, they save tons of money for other shop" that says alot about how they treat the average american versus the more lucrative customers like the shops. $20 here $40 there and soon an ensuing sumptuous scam is sucking money from the unsuspecting consumers." What gives you the right to judge how our company treats an average american (or customer of any nationality) versus the more lucrative customers like the shops, based on a review/rebuttal that was written by a customer who is no different than you are? In other words, you define our point of view based on some one else's point of view. What if your character or personality was judged based on one event that occurred in your life... perhaps even something that you yourself regret. Would that be fair? I don't think so. I think you can relate that example to the "character" of any company.

Now, I do apologize if my points were a bit drastic, but please understand it was only for the purpose of setting the contrast.

Now regarding the actual work that our company does. I absolutely agree with you on the fact that there are plenty of things we can improve on and learn to do, but can't we say that about anyone? Would be selfish of us not to admit it.

Now let me tell you, it is unbelievable how much can change in a week. I invite you to give us a test drive - free of charge (contact me directly at service@safetyrestore.com subject field: Re: ROR42713) Choose any service from our website www.safetyrestore.com

Lastly, I personally invite you to pay us a visit at 45 Meadow St. in Westfield, MA 01085 and I'll arrange a meeting for you to meet the owner. Or maybe you can get in contact with some local relative or friend who can confirm this for you. Just so the generic name is out of there.

With all due respect, on the other hand, I accept your criticism and will be sharing this information with all employees of the company in our next meeting to make appropriate improvements.

Amateurs!

If you think safety restore is a strong trust worthy company, I suggest you Think Again! I have been a My Airbags customer for quite awhile, around 4 years. I've decided to try out this new company Safety Restore in hopes of cutting some corners to save some cash. Their quality is a jinxed joke. Work is sloppy and seems unreliably unsafe to say the least. One of the belts was not even repaired at all. Webbing was stained with some kind of shop grease! These are the new kids on the block just lookin for the come up. Avoid this company and go else-where that has a functional customer service dept and experience. And to those saying "oh its only a $40 loss, they save tons of money for other shop" that says alot about how they treat the average american versus the more lucrative customers like the shops. $20 here $40 there and soon an ensuing sumptuous scam is sucking money from the unsuspecting consumers. When I googled Safety Restore, this website came up and I was compelled to share my experience as a cautionary tale. All these other rebuttals seem phony and may be an attempt to clear their name. Professionalism is patently poor to the point of pernicious intent. Going into business with these peddlers is precarious to be profuse. Beware of hack jobs bearing fancy websites, claiming to be a legit company. I did some digging and the website's claim that 'Peter Schafer" (what a generic name) is the owner is false. If you don't know who runs the company how are supposed to trust them? This is America, not a third world country, learn how do do business the right way.

I think this "report" was unnecessary. These guys are rocking shops with their services, and you're complaining about 40 bucks. LOL. Come on man, you want people buying $600 modules? Straighten up.

Sir,

When you made a purchase on our website www.safetyrestore.com, you agreed to the terms and conditions clearly stating that a refund takes anywhere from 24 hours to 21 days to process. Our part was carried out, and a refund was issued and processed. As far as your actual problem with the module... It was physically damaged and unusable. For your safety, and ours, we sent it back to you without tempering with it. What you did next, was your choice.

Thank You.

Undoubtfully there's only 2 companies in the world strong enough to be doing what they are: MyAirbags & Safety Restore. Both saving small shops and business owners thousands of dollars. I've personally dealt with both of the companies, and they are great. Owning a collision repair shop myself, I cannot dare let comments as such go by. The "sham" operation you so call they run have saved me over 6k to date... And you're complaining about your $25-$50 loss? There been times they couldn't reset my module, within 2 weeks a full refund was issued.

P.S. why would you send the same module twice? ESP if it's rendered unusable. Are you aware that whichever company you sent it out to could have bypassed the read chip inside and you are now responsible for this act? I would seriously rethink your argumental points...
