I was a salesman for Salerno Duane KIa from March of 2007 until August 2007 and was treated very unfairly by the management. When I worked there my paychecks were almost always short and I never did get money back that they owed me. Kia motors had a promotion for salesman, that promotion gave salespeople a chance to earn bonus cash for good customer satisfaction, my rewards (kIa Rewards) got reported to managers and I never got paid for those sales. They make you work 12 hours a day 5 days a week and 10 hours on saturdays and only got paid $200. for it. They failed to tell me I could get 22% commission on all sales not just used so I would work extra hard only to earn a $75. commision per sale on a new car. If you didn't come in on your day off they would threaten to fire you. They made us work extra hard and show no gratitude for it. On saturdays they would buy us a crappy lunch and often management would make fun of the larger members of the staff in meatings and totally degrade them for being overweight. I ahve never been so abused in my life. To make matters worse when I decided to find a new job and gave proper notice I never got paid my $200. for the week I worked and lost $600. in kia promotions cash program because they gave it to a manager. In addition to this when I left my car which was broken and sitting by the service department was vandalized by someone at the dealership. And could you beleive that they would fire someone for wearing white sneakers (first offence) Its too bad that there isn't an organization that protects us workers. Oh and let me say the reason they said they would not pay me was because someone in the company broke into there candy machine and pissed on the floor and had to be me because I was the only fat person working for the company and I was seen eating a chocolate bar.
