I actually don't work for Sallie Mae, but for a different student loan servicing company. I know where i work, all you would do is call the company and advise of this fradulent activity. Trust me, this kind of thing happens more than you would think. Like is said, just call Sallie Mae's customer service dept, and im sure they will be happy to assist you. They should be able to send you pprwrk on how to get a fradulent loan out of you name.

It's been awhile, but Sallie Mae used my social security number as my account number when I got my student loan six years ago. I assume that's why they kept asking you for yours. Check their letters for the account #, this should be the SS# of the actual account holder. If they don't list an account #, and this isn't on your credit, tell them they have the wrong person and never to contact you again. If they continue to harrass you or attack your credit, you may be able to sue them. See ftc.gov for federal regulations regarding this abuse.
