Salon O Tony in Vienna VA Rip off and shady business Vienna Virginia

I got a Groupon ($109.00) for Keratin treatment from Salon O Tony in Vienna. I got an appointment with Tony as I thought that him being the owner of the store , the service I would get will be good. I showed up on time for my appointment. After 20 minutes waiting , I was taken by someone to get my hair washed and was shown to my chair. I then waited for 15 mins with wet hair when another person started working on my hair. I repeatedly asked where Tony was and they said that he will come shortly.

This person continued to work on my hair and applied the keratin solution (BTW, he just emptied the last bit from a container onto my head and worked with what was there - did not bother getting more). I have had Keratin treatments from good salons before and know what is involved. This guy who was working on my hair did not comb the solution through my hair - he just 'shampooed' it in and then started flat ironing it. I asked again for Tony , with whom I had the appointment. The response I got was just unbelievable - I was told that Tony was pressure washing the outside and got wet - so he is drying himself - Why Tony was pressure washing when he had an appointment with me is beyond me. The entire process took about an hour whereas the other salons I have had my keratin done usually takes close to a couple hours.

The man who did my hair was so rough and banged up my head pretty bad with the dryer. He also burnt my scalp a few times. Very rough - not what I would have expected from a Salon.

When I was waiting when I got in, I saw one of the workers mix water into a keratin bottle and transfer it to 3 different bottles. This should have been my clue to leave right away as it was very shady that keratin solution will be diluted. The salon had flies and cobwebs near chairs.

I washed my hair a couple days after the treatment and now it looks like I have blowdried my hair - nothing more. I am very very upset and frustrated at how this salon has tricked me. The fact that I was not serviced by the person who I had an appointment with is definitely not OK. Very very bad business and poor service .
