SCAM! I was SCAMED!
by Steve Wolfe. I was contacted by Steve Wolfe who represented Teed Off
Publications who was selling adds in their 2011 publication The Woodlands Golfers Guide Directory We than spoke verbally over the phone and through emails. He told me that the publication would be in 13 country clubs across North Houston and that they would be re-stocking all 13 of them through out the year. I paid $600.00 for a full page add. The new year came and I was reading reviews about them and they have been SCAMMING people in other states so I started to call the 13 country clubs to see if the publication ever made it to them and all 13 country clubs said they have never
heard of them and nor do the carry the publications. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they returned my money (thank god). I contacted Teed Off and found out that Steve Wolfe is doing the same SCAM under saltandsandmedia.com!
Somebody should stop him!

My name is Sidhartha Caracas, I am the owner of Salt and
Sand Media Inc. The author of this post has never done business with my company
and has accused us of perpetrating fraud. I checked to see if he had written a
Ripoff report for Teed off Publishing, the company he supposedly had a dispute
with, and there was none to be found. I called Wes Walker the stated author and
spoke to him personally. He verified that he did in fact have some misgivings
with Teed Off Publishing, that they refunded his money and that he has no
problem with Teed Off nor the employee mentioned above. He clearly stated he did
not write the above report, nor did he call Teed Off asking for information
about my company. He informed me that someone was apparently
misrepresenting him in an effort to attack my company.
Both of our companies are working together to
acquire the IP address of the real person who misrepresented himself as Wes
Walker. We are dealing with Ripoff report and our attorneys to get to the
bottom of this. Unfortunately, with websites like this anyone can say what they
like without exposing who they really are. In this particular instance we have
a pretty good idea who the perpetrator is. Obviously he had to have access to
company information and company data files from Teed Off. The IP will confirm
our suspicions.
