Sanford Brown Institute Failed to give me the education they promisesd Iselin, New Jersey

I have so much to say about this school, and not enough room to place it all on here.  All my complaints are detailed with dates, and times saved in my computer.  Every negative thing everyone from everywhere said about this school is 100 percent true.  I chose this school because I received my MA certificate from them in 2003.  I had a great experience there which was the reason for my return.  I had no idea how much it changed over the years.  I have been done with classes since May 13th 2010, and here I am four weeks later without an externship site, and unemployment running out.  She sent me to a site that took an hour to get there and an hour and a half to get home.  I was there five hours, and did not realize how much I did not learn until I got there. Mind you I was a straight A student!  I found out while on the site that the office manger was not interested in training students anymore because the office was simply to small.  And the office was very small, the only reason I had a seat was because an employee called out. She asked me to come in the next day in the morning, I asked till what time, she said and I quote; "whatever time you want they are your hours, this is just your training." "If you have something to do then go ahead just make sure you have me sign your sheets."  With all that said it was the worst five hours of my life!  I was handed a folder with a stack of patients and told this is what you say.  I suppose because I have a medical background I was supposed to know what to do?  I immediatly contacted Ms. Roz I am the professional you are the student Martin and expressed my concerns, about the site, and also the transportation. That was just way to far for me to travel especially when my only income is unemployment. 

I got in touch with her two days later and she belittled me told me I let my fears overcome me, I gave up to soon, blah blah blah! I'm sure she had that rehearsed anyway. I new it to be false, those were not the reasons at all, but she doesn't let you defend yourself or respond at all. She promised to call me back on the 27th of May to set up a meeting for her and I.  Well as you can see that never happened!

Roz Martin the site coordinator for the billing course never returned any of my calls.  She finally called me today June 9th 2010 in response to an email I sent her asking her if she had any plans on returning my call.

She was so rude and disrepectful towads me, and she would not let me get a word in edge wise.  She stated to me and I quote; " I am the professional here, you are just a student!"  I am beyond disgusted I have been looking into lawyers, and I contacted certified mail the unemployment office since half of the money came from them.  I have gone to temp agencies and have been on many interviews during this time, but without success. This LIAR stated that the office manager was so displeased with me and how much of a disgrace I was on the job! WHAT?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???   What a LIAR! This was not the case at all. In fact, my last half hour the office manager asked me to sit with her and she broke the insurance part of the job.  She handed me the paper she wrote information on, and made a folder for me, and told me when I come in the next day to re-do everything over, to see if I got a better understanding of it!

Roz Martin tried to find fault in me and blame me for the site not working out, because this is what she is paid to do! I was there at that site, NOT HER! She has no idea what was said to me, WHY? Because she doesn't let you get a word in!

This so called professional hung up on me because she did not like what I had to say which was the truth.  When I called her back she answered "yeah" and then changed it up real quick and said how can I help you?  She told me quickly of a site which is an hour away from where I live, and I stated that is too far for me especially when I have a young child at home.  I asked her about the sites she told me about earlier that were much closer to me, she responded they are all full! I will have to call you back I am with a student right now!

What the heck kind of a professional is that! She referred to me as a complainer and a person having issues with the school months ago.  This is true, I went to several people in that school complaining about my instuctors lack of teaching skills.  If this wasn't important to me I would not have wasted my time!  I went as far as speaking with the VP of the school and he too ignored my complaints.  I didn't know it was a crime to ask for what you are paying for.  I asked for an education and that turned me into a trouble maker. Really?? Seriously?? I have no time for that stuff! I have a lot to lose here!  Roz Martin is so busy covering her tracks, and keeping up with her lies! She had the nerve to tell me that she has documentation of all the times she returned my calls.  This is the biggest lie ever!  I had to laugh at her when she said that.  I mean I know she is used to dealing with young ignorant students, but I am not one of them.  I have every single day since May 24th 2010  up to this very day documented! So I know she is a liar!

Later, after that unprofessional phone call with Roz Martin, I was so annoyed I called the VP and left him a detailed voice mail asking him to please call me back! He never got back to me the first time around so I doubt he will get back to me this time.  But it was worth a shot.  So here I am today June 9th 2010 RIPPED OFF BY SANFORD BROWN!
