This Jewelry store purposefully and falsely misrepresents diamonds and sells them.  Sold me a diamond with non legitimate paperwork and does not answer calls, refusing to refund payment once it was determined that they had falsely represented item.   The perpetrator's name is Emil who also sells on Ebay as screen name of "diamonddr16".   Please beware

False Information

AUTHOR: DiamondDr16 - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 20, 2016

Diamond Dr16 sells every item as described and never misrepresents an item. If a client is buying a Tiffany piece which is based on Tiffany grading scale/system they should not try to penalize the seller if GIA grades it differently. Long story short this gentlemen bought a $67,000 ring from me which retails over $95,000 ( Tiffany Appraisal provided upon purchase ). Payment was made via Bank Wire transfer, and with in 24 hours client had ring in their hands and confirmed with me everything is good ( they had even gone to a jeweler & Tiffanys to verify it all ). 6 months later they no longer wanted the ring, not sure what happened but they decided to get a GIA certificate for the main stone. GIA graded the diamond differently than Tiffany had it graded, which caused this whole problem. His lawyer called me and said listen you are not at fault but i am doing my job and just want to ask you nicely if you would be willing to take the ring back. I clearly said no and that was the end of it.

Tiffany & Co has a different grading scale then GIA does!
