Why haven't you filed a claim against her estate?

IMO, you can and should file a claim against her estate. You can contact the courts in the COUNTY inwhich she died to find out what the proper procedures are to accomplish this. You can learn what is left of her estate and the identity and contact information of the executor of the estate.

You don't need a lawyer (although it's recommended) and as long as you have the records you claim to possess (emails, payment records, etc.) you should prevail. She owed you a refund and that obligation did not die when she passed away.

If she had ANYTHING OF VALUE, real estate, bank accounts, vehicles, jewelery, stereo, etc. you have a good chance of recovery.

It's your choice to persue or not persue a refund. I would not waste any more time doing nothing. Each State has different minimum periods for resolving claims against estates-if you wait too long, you'll be out of luck completely.

Just wanted to let you know when I hit my "back" view on the explorer I was in a google search / find page and apparently Sarah was killed in New Paris on Jan 11,2009 on her way back from Elkhart where her and Tarak were moving. I feel saddened by this but in the back of my head is "what comes around goes around'
It didn't say if she had any cats or her 2 white male poodles with her.

quick answer YES sarah dressler did infact pass away (from what i've heard/read) Its a very sad thing too happen too anyone and i feel very bad for her family.. but too make things clean ..
we were still scammed by this woman (thats a fact) but this is now over with as there is really nothing more we can do about being scammed.
My heart goes out too her family for the unfortunate death of their family member.

Considering earlier information, I would also make sure to test for FIP, so that if it exists, you know not to get another cat, or allow interactions, or if you ever need to board. I would also like to note, while in no way defending this breeder, when I was actively breeding, my kittens did not leave until 10 to 16 weeks of age, and that sphynx are a VERY difficult breed to breed and raise, so it would not be exactly unreasonable to run into problems when purchasing one from even a good breeder.

The author of this ROR needs to file a claim against her estate to recover the cost of the cat.

NEW PARIS -- A crash on an icy roadway killed one woman south of here Saturday afternoon.

Sarah Dressler, 24, of Bradford, Ohio, was headed south on S.R. 15 at 2:45 p.m. when she lost control of her 1999 Ford Escort south of U.S. 6, said Elkhart County Cpl. David Lanzen.

According to Brad Billings of Billings Funeral Home, she'd recently moved to Elkhart because of her husband's job. The funeral home is handling her funeral arrangements.

"She started to slide sideways," Lanzen said.

The car crossed the center line into the path of an oncoming semi hauling milk, Lanzen said.

The semi driver swerved to try to avoid the crash, but to no avail. "It looks like she got caught under the trailer," Lanzen said.

A ladder on the side of the milk hauler was damaged, as was a fender over the rear wheels, but that was the limit of visible damage. The driver wasn't injured.

The car spun back across the road and down an embankment.

New Paris firefighters and EMS personnel called for the coroner and shut down S.R. 15 for hours while police and the coroner's office investigated. Indiana State Police also helped out, with a motor carrier inspector performing standard checks on the truck and its driver.

anyways i eventually emailed everyone on sarah dresslers myspace page and mentioned this rip off report and sent them the link as well.
few people emailed back and said they didnt know her (even though they were on her myspace friends list..lol)
ok well anyways i did eventually get an email from sarah's cousin Sally!!
Sally told me sarah was sick ,blah blah blah... after me saying to here im not beliving this bullcrap she finally said sarah was poor and had spent all the money on her self. she didnt have any of our shipping money etc left to send him. so anyways i asked her if she would be willing to meet someone in michighan with milo. she said yes so they worked a day and everything out.. (now im assuming sarah let this happen because i sent her all the links too too all the websites i posted on as well as all the people i emailed about her scamming me.) scaring her WORKED!!!
Anyways the lady met with sally in michigan .. milo had not been vaccinated,or vet checked (ever!!) so the real truth came out everytime she was shipping etc she never actually planned on it , cant make a flight internationally with out vet check and rabies shot.. which he had neither. so another lie of sarah dressler's.
anyways milo gets too canada thats to this lady (we payed her gas,toll fee's,bridge fee's) because sarah is a b@tch that never planned on shipping my cat , but wanted to steal our money. anyways she gets milo finally into canada but behold : milo has horrible earmites, puking up round worms, sores from the s**t stuck too him for god knows how long (weeks,months ?) infection in his feet as well from the crap stuck too him, he has a bad nasal discharge and possible herpes as well. wow what a great person she should keep on breeding these poor sick animals NOT NOT NOT!!!! THESE POOR KITTENS/CATS ARE ILL SHE EVEN SOLD MY CATS MOTHER (I FOUND OUT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SARAH) WHEN THERE WERE LITTLE ITTY BITTY BABIES AND THEN STUCK THEM ALL ON ANOTHER CAT WHO ALREADY HAD A LITTER OF KITTENS..AND SHE WAS KEEPING ALL THE CATS AND KITTENS IN ALITTLE BASEMENT ROOM WITH NO WINDOWS AND NO LIGHT EXCEPT A LAMP ON A CHAIR.. LITTER ON THE FLOOR AND FOOD ...ALL OVER THE PLACE.. NOW I ASK WHAT KIND OF BREEDER IS THIS ...? THIS IS A BACKYARD KITTY MILL BREEDER WHO NEEDS TO BE STOPPED SHE IS KILLING THESE POOR ANIMALS.
SARAH DRESSLER YOUR A BAD BREEDER , A SCAMMER AND AN ANIMALS ABUSER!!!

sarah still wont answer emails,phone etc ect
but after emailing everyone on her myspace. her cousin said she'd help was very kind.. she has offered to pick up milo and drive him too meet someone who has offered to pick up milo on my behave but so far now im not sure whats going on... ughh this is nuts

Still havent heard anything from scammer sarah dressler yet.
although i did have a scam ad on hoobly for a bit and recieved many emails from other people ripped off by Sarah dressler as well. so it looks like im not the only person she has screwed. she is one evil evil B#$%#.
theft is wrong, not just morally but illegally wrong, and i think breeding animals in terrible conditions when they are catching upper respitory over and over again is a good clue she is doing something terribly wrong with her poorly abused cats and kittens. those poor kitties...
