Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I purchased a restaurant coupon on 12/26/11 to give to my nephew for his birthday. The confirmation instructed to wait for the voucher in my inbox. A few weeks later, it occurred to me that I hadn't yet received it and went online to discover that I wasn't allowed to redeem it until 1/20/12.

On 1/21/12 I redeemed it online; however, I found it odd that, instead of having me print my voucher and be done with it, the instructions said to wait 3-5 business days to receive it by mail. I waited, and waited, and waited. Note that they are apparently located in Dallas based on the area code. I am in San Antonio--a mere 5 hour drive away.

On 2/1/12 I called using the number listed on the website. I selected the option to speak with a customer service agent but, INSTEAD, was dumped immediately into voicemail. I left a message on that day, plus 3 more over the next week and a half.

On 2/9/12 I "liked" them on Facebook in order to leave the a message stating that I was having a negative experience with them and would appreciate a return call. Within SECONDS a reply was posted to my Facebook message saying that the company they partnered with had filed for bankruptcy and I should see a refund in my bank account within--you guessed it--3-5 business days. I found it odd that they immediately identified me and my purchase and were able to reference it so quickly. (Either they assumed based on the number of complaints they were getting about this particular "deal," or they are THAT good but still feel I'm not worth a phone call. Not sure which is worse). I replied that I appreciated the response, but it would be more appropriate to have someone return one of my 4 calls. On instinct I refreshed the page and found that both of my comments were deleted.

On 2/13 I called again. As usual, I was dumped immediately into voicemail hell but I still left another VM. I then went back to their Facebook page and wrote the following: "UPDATE TO NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE: They say by FACEBOOK--still no call--that I'll see a deposit for my purchase in my account within 3-5 days. Hasn't happened." I refreshed the page immediately and realized that I had been blocked.

Now I realize they never had any intention of conducting legal, legitimate business with me.
