While checking my credit card account online, I saw a charge I didn't recognize. It was for $13.95 for a company called Savings2go.
I called the 800 number for Savings2Go and got a recording saying they are a club of some kind where members allegedly save on movie tickets, travel, and other purchases. There was an option to cancel my "membership" so I cancelled.
I NEVER signed up for such a membership. I would never sign up for anything that was going to charge me $14 a month for a service I would never use.
This company is a complete Rip Off!
The only way I can imagine they got my credit card number was that they copied it from something I purchased online.
I called my bank and requested that they block this company from further charges, but was told that they will have to investigate, and that could take up to 90 days....3 more months that shady company can steal $14 from me.
