Schlotsky's Cynde Owens Wilson Punish employees for preventing potential triple murder during robbery Houston Texas

Please do not patronize this schlotsky's. These owners, shown below are horrible human beings. On 12/12/14 this location was robbed after lunch rush. One customer was present, the manager (Linda, bffs with owner for 37 years) and one other employee were present. Employee & manager were in the back making special order for lone customer when they heard screaming. Robber had gun to customer's head. Robber asked for manager, then put gun to her head. Customer and other employee were freaking out, as anyone would be. Linda managed to calm them down as their screaming was making robber with gun to Linda's head nervous too. Linda gave armed robber money in the register and safe, her own money, and robber left out the back door. SHE SAVED HERS AND 2 OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES THAT DAY.

Owners don't even bother to show up until 2 days later, just asked that day if there is enough money to finish the day. FINISH THE DAY? Really?

What did Linda get in return? She was demoted to team lead, pay lowered to $9/hr (by her friend of 37 years). Linda was too traumatized to continue. She went back to work her next shift but couldn't handle it and resigned. These heartless owners did not offer any support for trauma counseling or anything of the like. Linda got demoted for preventing a potential triple murder in this store. They filed workers comp, Linda was too traumatized to even be able to drive to the doctor appointment, so she lost any chance of workers comp. That is when the owners should have reached into their pockets and offered to pay for any counselling their loyal employee and supposed friend needed. Didn't happen. NEVER EVEN ASKED IF SHE IS OK. And now are fighting her unemployment benefits. Special place in hell for these business owners. Please choose another Schlotsky's.
