Scootworks - Dave Hockaday Paid $1300 in 2008 & STILL WAITING!!! Zebulon NC

I want to file a complaint on a business operating in Zebulon, NC.  The business name is "Scootworks", a motorcycle accessory/part business run by "Dave Hockaday".

I paid them $1300 way back in March/April of 2008 for a Custom Front Wheel & matching Custom Brake Rotor for my motorcycle.  I have NOT received the product of which I've paid my hard earned money.

My wife & I drove down there from WV in July of 2009 to talk with him face-to-face about this Wheel/Rotor Order that he had not produced (he had e-mailed fairly consistently with excuses after excuses previously) & also to complain about an "inferior" thin cracked Chin Spoiler that I had purchased from them.  He looked me in the eye while shaking my hand & AGREED to replace the Chin Spoiler & to paint it Black with a Dark Red Maltese Cross on it & also to speed along the production of my Custom Wheel/Rotor.  Well..... here it is 2014 & still NO resolving this!

He last e-mailed me in Feb. 2014 promising that the Chin Spoiler was completed & would Ship it to me immediately... but DID NOT.  Now, he will not return phone calls (I leave cordial messages repeatedly) or return my e-mails.  I have been understanding & pleasant to work with but this has become beyond ridiculous & maddening.  He would only reply back to e-mail every couple of months with every excuse under the sun, storm, power out, machine down, short crew, wife sick, he's sick, the dog's sick, the neighbor's dog's sick.

He sent an e-mail in Nov. '13 saying that the Chin Spoiler was painted & he'd Ship, he did not.  He's said time & time again that he's working on the Wheel/Rotor but has never completed it.  He sure was quick to take my money!  I was told in '08 that it would take 6-8 WEEKS... not YEARS!!!  DO NOT ORDER FROM SCOOTWORKS OR DAVE HOCKADAY!!!
