They Obtained all security info, ss# etc, for $1 fee to provide credit score. AFTER gave info and paid the $1, states congratulations of your "Membership" with additional fees.  Dallas Texas

Did NOT disclose ANY info about ANY membership until AFTER paid $1 Processing Fee to get 'FREE CREDIT SCORE'. I called company. AFTER I express how upset I am that I just gave all my personal ID info and ScoreSense would immediately violate a customers trust by forcing a 'membership' they didn't even know about. I asked for owners name. Rep refused to give me owners name. He wanted me to give my 'last 4 digits of my ss #. ZERO common sense and outright theft. Reporting to BBB.

I received an email from 'HARP Program' and another from 'Mortgage Savings' regarding Obama Announces HARP Program. MOrtgate Rates Drop.  Being that I am recently laid off and now unemployed, I wanted to check into this.  (I have seen plenty of these emails belore).   

I clicked on. It brought me to a page that stated in order for a rep to contact me to discuss HARP Program I must know my credit score when they contact, and brought me to a site to fill out info to get my FREE credit score.  It soon asked for credit card info for the "$1.00 Processing Fee'. but the credit score info was 'FREE'.  I was skeptical but I did give all my info which I normally would not do, yet I do want to lower my mortgage rate without paying outragious RE-FI fees again.

I provided my SS # etc.   AFTER I gave all my personal security info, and paid the $1.00 fee, it said 'Congratulations on your MEMBERSHIP with ScoreSense.   What Membership???   I didn't join a 'membership'.  I was paying the $1.00 processing fee to get my FREE CREDIT SCORE.   I was given a 'membership' number as a Reference.  

I immediately call the phone # in the email and tell the rep I am highly upset that your service just took advantage of my trust.  I was paying a $1 process fee to see my credit score and AFTER I gave all my info, your site tells me I joined a 'membership' AFTER.  Well I did NOT join a membership.   I give the rep my so called 'membership' # so he can remove me and make sure I did not join any membership.  I literally just called this guy within 5 minutes of receiving the membership number.  He pulls it up and states my first and last name.  I said yes.  He now has the nerve to ask me to verify my email address and my SS #!!! ??  WHAT??!!  I just gave him membership #, he can see I just did this 5 minutes ago. I gave him my email address as confirmation and my name and now he wants my SS # over the phone??!!  

I asked him who the owner was of ScoreSense.  He said he couldn't continue until I provided at least the last 4 digits.  I asked him if he heard at all what the customer just expressed.  I told him I wanted to speak to a manager if he oculd not provide the owner's name.   We didn't get anywhere so I told him if I find one charge on my credit card I will make this a big deal, that it already is!  Do not put me a part of ANY membership.  Cancel your so called membership.  I did NOT join a 'membership'.   As far as I am concerned they stold my info for improper use.  I told him I am going to the BBB.

What a scam!  Using Obama's name to scam behind even further.  What happened to common sense and integrity?   Human Being 'ism' has gone out the door.  Really sickening!

DO NOT PROVIDE ANY CREDIT CARD INFO OR YOUR SS # TO ANYONE LOOKING TO RE-FI OR HELP WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD SCORE.  SCAM ARTISTS.   I did call my credit card company and explained all.  They put a note on the account.  They will contact me in 1 week to give an update of any activity and block further transactions.
