This is what I filed with the BBB:

I purchased a 7 year warranty a few years ago from "Scott" at the rvprotection.net company. During our purchase discussions I was told that I would receive a refund when or if I sold the RV and the purchaser did not want to bu the remaining warranty. I purchased the warranty based on this information. I called "Scott" in January08 of this year and advised him that I wanted to cancel my warranty and receive a refund for the remaining amount. He told me what forms to fill out...and I did so. I contacted him again a few months later and he said it would be there soon. I have continued to contact him in reference to the refund and he is now passing the buck. He indicated that they do not do business with the underwriter of the company and that it is more or less out of his hands. The contract he and I signed...stated that I would get a refund if I canceled the warranty before it was over. I kept my end of the contract and he is not.

Follow Up.

On 2SEP08 I received a threatening phone call phone Scott at rvprotection.net. He called me vulgar names and threatened me...saying that I should be happy that I do not live closer to him. I am very unimpressed with this company now. I can not believe a member of the BBB would treat customers this way. I have saved the message and have it for your review if needed. I am also contacting the attorney general in this matter. I do not want to do business with a company like this. I simply wanted a refund of what was owed to me...if anything. I indicated this to Scott...and I asked him to let me know if anything was due. Now I get this harassing phone call. Please let me know if any more information is required. I now do not care if I get a refund or not...I just don't want another person to have to go thru this type of harsh treatment.

Scott Stevens is a low life, unstable, uneducated lame con artist.  He is a thief and a waste of skin.

I have criminal complaints pending against this thieving liar with the FBI, DOJ, local Sheriff and Police departments.

Looking forward to my day(s) in Court, and watching him led off to prison.

Zach filed for cancellation of his policy after the administrator (American Guardian) paid out 3 times his premium and that is why THEY deemed no refund.

I do not (Rvprotection) have any say so in this and this has nothing to do with me or my company as I more than once told Zach. I went on further to attempt to explain to him that I no longer am an agent for that admin, so his asking me to "see what I can do" in this case, was impossible. I could not change what AGWS says.

What a joke people are. I simply stated to him he got nothing because in 5 months he far exceeded (3 times the amount) the cost of the premium in paid claims. YES, that is right PAID claims. But he got screwed???? Who got screwed? I told him he was joking if he thought he was entitled to any money back after all the claims paid on his behalf. Besides we are not responsible for the performance of the contract. The contract was not between us and Zach, but rather the admin and Zach.

As the "selling dealer' simply how is this complaint ever justified. In regards to his false allegations of being rude. I was not except to say he pushed me to my limit and would not hear anything I was trying to say.

This customer could have at ANY TIME contacted the admin direct to get a full explaination on this matter since he did not want to listen to us. AGWS number is 800-579-2233. And for all others, come and get a great warranty and you too can have claims paid that will far exceed what you pay for a premium. LOL!

And we deserve to be in good standing with the BBB. Because we actually take care of our customers and our admin's pay claims! Obviously. And for the improper respresetnation of our website please reference our proper website at www.rvprotection.net, not dot com. We also come recommended by the FMCA, RV America, and our members of Escapees Club, FMCA, and work well with many other associations. Our plans are UNDISPUTABLE the best in the country. In fact so, they are also offered at the largest RV dealership in the USA. AND I always give my clients the respect they DESERVE.

Thank you for hearing my side of this frivolous, un-justified and slanderous complaint. Call me anytime and hear the complete deal.
