Scott's Performance Auto misreprentation, liar, gas-rip-off.com, dishonorable, Hookset New Hampshire

BEWARE....Fraudulently misrepresented condition of vehicle along with gross and blantant ommissions. I purchased a vehicle on eBay from this dealership and the decription that was provided was a total misrepresentation of condition of vehicle.

I tried to remedy situation by requesting a refund and offered to pay the shipping charges, and I got no response, and it became obvious they wanted to assume no responsibility for their lies about the condition of vehicle.

As example, they failed to mention driver side headlamp lift motor was burned out, $224.00 cost. They failed to mention body damage to rear driver side body which was cracked and patched up a spray painted to cover it up. The same was true of front passenger side fender with a cracked and splintered fiberglass. This were to obvious visual problems to have not noticed.

The worse was the fact the engine is shot. It barely ran and was set up to idle at 1500 RPM for it would not idle at all below that. In having engine checked, it was found that three cyclinders were scored, and cam lobes were worn all caused by overheating of engine. I could not get the engine not to overheat, no matter what was done to insure radiator was full, antifreeze was correct ratio, waterpump was working, nothing would solve overheating problem.

My mechanic diagonosed that the reason engine was overheating was due to friction caused by scrored cylinder walls, which were compounded by poor cooling system. In addition to overheating, the engine popped through carburator which was the worn cam lobes, so you could not accelerate without popping back through carburator, again, impossible to miss if any half a*s mechanic would have driven vehicle.

The engine leaked oil to the point I could not park it anywhere without a matt under it. The clutch chatters violently and first gear syncros were shot in transission along with linkage not allowing easy shifting. Reverse would grind everytime, although adjustments were made to correct this issue. Again, there is no way this could have been hidden from dealer.

Numerous smaller unmentioned issues were also overlooked. CV joint boot leaking, transmission leaking, engine mounts collapsed causing a wind as engine was resting on frame. Rim was leaking air due to rust in rim bead. Windsheild was leaking water and had to be removed and resealed as wrong gasket was used previously leaving gaps. Another issue that could not have been missed.

All of the above is verified by my mechanic, as well as a second opinion. When placed on a Dyno, vehicle was promoted as new rebuilt engine with 375 HP, yet engine was not rebuilt, and only had 271 HP, so total misrepresntation from start to finish. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALER. Records of repairs and pictures of engine damage and cam on request. Can you even imagine delivering vehicle with three loose flopping spark plugs? Pathetic experience.
