Scozak Construction Equipment Bought a JCB backhoe that was unsafe to operate, wore out and not even same year advertised Hallandale Florida

we bought a 1999 JCB backhoe from Zak Grosser with Scozak Equipment. He gaurenteed that the machine was in good working condition, with 2169 hours, no leaks and ready for work. After waiting more than a month to finally get it shipped, it arrived and was a total nightmare. The door was bungy strapped shut, the lights were either missing or wires cut, the loader was twisted so the bucket didn't set level, leaked oil, the pins were all loose and needed replacing, hole in backhoe bucket covered with paint, patched and welded up all over, the 2169 hours was on an afterhour meter as the original meter was disconnected, and it was a1997 not a 1999.

When Zak was notified about the machine he refused to take it back even when we offered to pay the return trucking, after a few days of calling they wouldn't answer calls or emails. We finally turned it over to a law firm in Florida who also didn't get any response from Mr. Grosser.

After a year of legal battles and $14000.OO in legal fees, Scozak Equipment, finally ended up paying us the $21000 for the machine, $10,000 of our lawyer fees and had to come to ND to get the machine. 

This could have all been avoided it they would have been honest, or if they would have taken the machine back when we offered to pay the return shipping or if we would have known about this site. 

The only thing I can say about them, is they should have been photographers as there pictures were way better than their machines.

By the way the vary same JCB backhoe is advertised on their site for sale with all the same lies that they used the last time. Beware of this company!
