A consignment containing 4 cars was given to SSL to be shipped to Nigeria in 2004, but was wrongly shipped to Cotonou in Republic of Benin. Several efforts were made to let have the company send a release from Atlanta to the Cotonou government to release the container or have it shipped back to Nigeria.
This case was reported to the CEO of the company in New Jersey, but the only thing he did was to fire the manager [Mr. John], and refused to answer or pick up any phone coming from me. Payment of $5200 was made to the company. Its almost 5years before the statue of limitation sets in.
There were several containers were wrongly shipped, with one belonging to an attorney in Atlanta, whose container was released on time while I was neglected and abandoned by the company and its CEO.
The cars that were shipped were Toyota 4Runner[1998], 2 Toyota Camry[1998], and Honda Accord [1998], with shipping and purchase and clearing in Nigeria totalling over $70000.00 at the time.
