I purchased a Sealy Anaheim plush mattress from Sears in Oct 2014 and within 6 months the mattress collapsed on one side. If you try to lie in the middle of the mattress you feel the "ledge". The mattress has a 10 year warranty but the requirements are impossible to meet so you get stuck with a defective mattress and are out of the money you spent. I looked up "Sealy mattress reviews" and all models and price ranges have the same issue. I tried going to Sears and was treated horribly my their assistant manager. Sealy customer service was very rude and don't take the time to hear your complaints. So far I have filed a complaint against Sealy but it takes 3-4 months before anything happens (stated on their website). In the meantime I have disc degenerative disease and sleeping on this mattress causes severe back pains.

My son's needs have always come before my own. I had purchased about $100 in clothing for him online from JcPenney a few nights prior to this but he needed a shirt & pants for an interview. I opted to buy them elsewhere so I in no way neglected my son. The earrings were only $7.99 and I don't see how spending $8 for earrings on myself is selfish. I lost my 2 sets during a surgery I had a month ago. I hardly have any jewerly at all & what I have is the inexpensive stuff. The most I spent was $90 years ago and those are the earrings I lost during the surgery and I wanted the $7.99 to replace them. You seem to act like you know me well enough to slander me as a parent. I own 1 pair of brown drop earrings that only match my brown sweater & leggings. I have 2 bracelets and 2 necklaces...most purchased from Fred Meyer during their sales so I spent anywhere from 20-30 per. My winter coat is about 5 yrs old, I wear my shoes till they are frayed, very scratched, or too worn out. The last pair I purchased for myself was about 2 yrs ago. The most I spend on myself is for my contact lenses and I wear them because my vision is extremely bad and I don't have $300-$400 to fork out for the thin lens glasses. I don't have my nails done, I don't wear makeup and my hair is usually pulled up into a bun because all the the products are a luxury I don't want or need. You have no right to judge me...I am a great parent and have fought tooth & nail to keep custody of my boy.  Wanting a newly purchased defective mattress replaced isn't beyond comprehension in any way. If it's defective it should be replaced as it has a 10 yr warranty. Google "Sealy Mattress reviews" and you'll see that a lot of Sealy mattresses, regardless of cost, have the same problem and the owners also have problems with the warranty. Since I never had any bad experiences with my local Sears I just paid for the 2 mattress sets so I could go home which was my bad because I was screwed out of a couple hundred bucks. My 5 yrs old printer/scanner gave out so it's hard to get pictures attached so I left them out. What I posted is a letter written to the district and regional managers and that is why it's so lengthy. I just copied it on here. I am a single parent, by choice, and have done nothing wrong. Everything I wrote is accurate and their video tapes will reflect that. I started working at the age of 16 in the school/work program. I had been gainfully employed until 2012 when I started getting ill. Due to my illness I am frequently in need of pain medication and I have problems with nausea.  I am really sorry you have so much anger & hatred toward me when you don't even know me but that's really sad. There are a lot of single parents in the same situation and hearing hatred like this is sickening. And from your hate filled message I imagine you are thinking I'm a horrible woman but let me fill you in...my son's father is a controlling, abusive and alcoholic jerk. He wasn't that way when we met but as he starting partying with his friends all those negative qualities started showing up. I decided to be a single parent because I didn't want my son seeing the drinking & fighting on a regular basis. Unfortunately he did when he was on visitations with his father as he fights with his wife daily. I'm not a bad person but yes, I am angry that I was treated badly. I am not looking for sympathy but giving you insight into a single parents life (disabled as well). Yes...it was my choice to be single but my son is better for it and he understands exactly why. Just to let you know...he came over and wanted to know what I was typing and was really angry at your last statement. He was upset because I couldn't get the earrings and some unknown person would be so hideous to make such an ignorant comment.
