Sealy Mattress Company Mattress World Expect No warranty from Sealy. Trinity, North Carolina

We bought a Sealy mattress at Mattress World in Portland Oregon.
They raved about the 10 year warranty, but we HAD to buy a special mattress pad for another $100 to ASSURE THAT THE WARRANTY WOULD BE VALID IF PROBLEMS AROSE.

In just 3 years - both sides my wife and I sleep on- had more than the 1 1/2 in deep sink holes. Our backs were suffering.

So we went to Mattress world, and they said it was under warranty and would send out an inspector. But it was a Sealy inspector.
When he came, he agreed that the sink holes were excessive- but then he looked and looked and looked some more at the mattress to try and find some way to void the warranty. He decided he was going to find a STAIN THAT DIDNT EXIST.

There was nothing there, but he insisted that there was. We brought out additional lights and put our best glasses on. But there was NO STAIN where he claimed. He was stone faced and said we would have to send in our expensive mattress pad to Sealy for inspection. If there was nothing wrong with the mattress pad ( a hole in it) then they would void the warranty for the NON EXISTENT STAIN.

There was nothing wrong with the mattress pad, and there was NO STAIN. Knowing this ,we went to Mattress World to have them go to bat for us. They didnt care.

So- I suggest you never buy a Sealy Mattress. They have NO WARRANTY.
And know also -Mattress World cares nothing about the products they sell. They will tell you anything. They will not stand behind thier customer.

This type of BS that is happening today is nauseating. We must boycott these companies that do this.
