Whatever you do, make sure to avoid Sears Auto Center for any work on your vehicle.

I took my vehicle there on 9/23/2012 to have the transmission fluid changed.  While I thought they had done a good job, I soon realized the opposite.  It was soon pointed out to me by a relative that the transmission was now leaking fluid.  I had my wife take it back to Sears to have this repaired.  There they noticed that a bolt was missing from the transmission pan.  They denied any responsibility and refused to correct the issue, instead sending us to another service center.

The other center noticed no damage to the pan and replaced the bolt for free.  Unfortunately what Sears did caused it such that the bolt would not stay.  After a few weeks it was leaking again as the bolt had fallen out and other bolts were loose.  This required a complete and proper transmission fluid change and flush.

I gave Sears every opportunity to correct this.  However, they refused to admit their responsibility for the poor job their technicians did.  They would not correct the problem originally and have fought my complaint to the BBB and my disputing the credit card charge.  Fortunately I paid with a credit card and they are able to hold Sears responsible for their poor work.

Again, I strongly urge anyone to steer clear of Sear Auto unless you want to pay twice for the same repair.
