I have been a customer of Sears Canada http://www.sears.ca for almost 14 years. This year I decided to purchase a Central A/C for my new home in Beamsville, Ontario.

I ordered and signed for the A/C on 02/09/2008 and the A/C cover is still not here.

I decided to go over with my wife last week (don't remember the date of it) and talked on the phone with the secretary of the sales representative and she was extremely rude!!!!!

The Sales representative called me on Friday and told me to appologize for not bringing over the Cover and told me if I would be home on Sunday (and I said yes) because I wanted my cover that I purchased.

We stayed home all day and not even a phone call from the sales representative or the cover!!!!

Please don't PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SEARS they are a company that promises the world and don't deliver

After speaking with the Store Manager yesterday (May 26th 2007) Mr. Kevin Dyson at Extension 401 he was very surprised that I had waited three (3) months to receive my a/c cover that I purchased along with my Central Air on 02/09/2008

Around 4:25 pm (May 26th 2007) Judy from Sears Whole Home (905) 641-9351 decided to leave a message to tell me the Manager of her departement was going to pass by and personally drop off the cover on Wednesday (either before going into work/after work).

I decided to call her back at 5:00 pm (May 26th 2007)and called her at Sears Whole Home at (905) 641-9351 and told her I would rather spend my time going to go and pick it up this morning and to please confirm with me when I can go over.

She decided to contact me back at 8:34 am (May 27th 2007) and asked me what time I would be by at the Store to pick up the a/c cover I told her around 11:00 am and mentioned to her that I was in contact with Head office and emailed home@sears.ca and they are going to get to the bottom of this.

Her exact responce was "no investigation is needed Greg Reid had it sitting in back of his car trunk for 3 months and it happens" I was in complete shock of what I had just heard and responded and thats the way Sears Canada does business? She didn't respond.

Please do not get ANY THING around the house (home renovations) from this Store .... On a Scale of 10 I give them a 2...

I will await a responce from the Sears Canada on this matter.

The sales-representatives name is Gregory Reid aka Greg Reid he is the gentelleman that had the cover for almost 2.5 months in the back of his car (trunk).

Sears Canada has to do something about issues like this one a a/c cover is supose to be used in the winter not in the summer...
