Went to local sears store gave them $2,156.67 for 3 items (1) refrig. (2) stove (3) microwave. they were to deliver all three item on Monday 01/17/2011 they called and said they didn't have the items and can deliver until 01/27/2011 I sold my stove and microwave so nothing to cook on so told them to cancel they say well you wont get your money back until after the 01/17/2011 delivery date and they couldn't cancel order would have to cancel at the local store. so after canceling at the local store now waiting to see... i will never step foot into another sears store. i will be around when they go out of business the way they are going . :) few years back nbc dateline did a tv story on sears car battery's they went to every state in america went to two stores in each state bought car batterys and took to garage drain battery dead marked the batterys NBC DATELINE and a week later go back to all the stores and on the sear store shelves was the return battery selling for new. how can they still be in business?

more trouble for yourself

Okay, so you got your money back so they didn't rip you off.  And if you had had a little bit of patience you would have received your items.  It probably took you longer to get items from another store delivered to your house.  This just seems silly.  The stores have MANY customers.  You're just one.  Sometimes they need people to be a little more patient and less ridiculous.  If you choose to shop elsewhere they will probably be relieved to be rid of another headache customer who can't be pleased.
