Sears used to be the local store where everyone, and i mean everyone would go to get anything and everything they needed.

now, with i  in. cu.nternet sales, they have become so big that they use their size to give the customer the soft shoe hustle,  when you have a complaint, they said to call, when you do, they tell you they have to contact the warehouse, then they tell you they have to contact the store your item came from, and finally they tell you that they have no control over the individual store.

i went online, july 27th 2013 and bought the Samsung side by side 29.5 cu in refridgerator with 8"LCD touchscreen and internet access.

Paid $1947 including shipping

Finally, august, 7th they show up.  the delivery guys come in, they ask if i need my old one hauled away.  i said yes,  they take it away, and bring in my new fridge.  Its the wrong one, not what i ordered,  the driver tells me to keep the one they delivered as a loaner, and they will bring me an exchange.

Now, a week later, and having waisted 2 hours on the phone, talking with two customer service reps, and one case manager, they have determined that the error was with the original store.

I inform the case manager that i found it online for less, andd new instead of refurbished.  They offer me a 10% discount, up to $150.00.   I ask them to just cancel it and refund my money.  they ask me to hold on a day and promise to call me back.  Twice i am told that i will be called back and nothing.Ok, ill take it, just to be done and move on, now, they tell me too much time has passed, i cant cancel, after they are the ones that delayed my canceling.

After all their ads promising price matching, refund with no question, i find myself having spent almost 2000 and having something i didnt order, something inferior.  And all the customer service can say is i have to call the mgr myself.

ok, its now almost a mont, havent heard a  peep out of sears in two weeks, aside from the rebuttle and i wrote hime as requested two days ago and still now answer.

Now, i just went and looked on their site, and they have the same one i ordered,  50 miles away at a store, and i just made an offer, and they agreed to sell for 1300 wich would come out to 400 less then i aid, plus they have a 10 % sale on everything this weekend.

and they could get it to me thius after noon, but that would be too easy

i think they ro-e people in on the high end ones, take their money, then send out inferiour oower priced models and hope that no one complains.

sick of sears.
