Ordered a dishwasher 11/24 as a gift for my brother, with a 11/29 delivery date, cost, 616.19 with installation.  Delivery, f/up on 11/30 - advised to re-order, original order was cancelled for unknow reasons.  The cost was higher - advised I would get credited?? Given a rebate # - which didn't even apply to my purhcase. Advised that I would be called back in 24/48 hours.

12/3 recieved a notice that the order was ready for pickup?

12/4 Called customer service, no call, no credit, no rebate.  Made a note, someone will call me back in 24/48 hours....

21/31 Customer Service advised it would be credited back to paypay

1/6/10 Called Customer Service, again, but on hold and then disconnected

1/6 called back, on hold for 33 minutes, advised that a gift card would be issued to me - it's not what I want, but, I'll settle for that.

2/1 - no card yet... CS advised that it is in the process of being processed.. should see it any day!

3/3 - resent to Sr. Case manager, said it would be resent, confirmed my mailing address, advised to check back if I don't see it in 10 days.

3/17 - called again, advised that it was being sent to my brother's address.. I advised that this was incorrect - it was to come to me and that I advised them that on the last call.  I insisted that I speak with a manager, who then advised that this is my fault because of the address (delivery address) was not mine.... so, ultimately, this is my fault, because I was dumb enough to buy something, as a gift, from Sears! So, now I have to call my brother and have him send this card to me... this is just simply ridiculous.
