Description Of Work: I had my old fence removed and new pvc fence installed. Throughout the process a couple things came up that I wasn't too happy with but mark did make sure to fix them the best that he could. In the end I was not happy overall but the job was done.

 I met with over 10 different fence companies and decided to go with secure fence because of their warranty. Mark told me they have a lifetime warranty on their workmanship and the product itself. Acts of God are not included in the warranty which is understandable. Before signing my contract I was told by Mark the owner, that the fence posts would be installed 2 to 3 fee t below the frost line. When Hurricane sandy came 5 sections of my fence came down and practically the whole fence was swaying including the posts. I immediately called mark and expressed to him that I didn't believe the fence was installed properly because I was able to pull the post right out of the ground. He explained to me that due to high winds the post came apart from the cement and that was the reason why. He told me he would come and take a look and give me a quote which he did. After receiving his quote I expressed to him again that I thought it was not installed properly the first time and if he could come back out while I was home so I can show him what I was talking about. He told me he would but he was dealing with personal issues at the time and he would get back to me. Weeks would go by and there were no answered calls and no answered emails. I moved forward to fix my fence with another company. When they came to my home to perform the service they called me outside and showed me that the posts we're only in the ground 11 inches, 12 inches, and 16 inches. Not the full 2 to 3 feet that Mark told me it would be. I have the pictures to back it up as well. I called mark to explain the situation again and to see if he could come out and take a look and he was very rude refused to come out and said that I was just trying to get a service for free. I express to him what I wanted was for him to come see the workmanship of his employees and to fix the problem. He refused to see that there was a problem and basically told me there is nothing that he would do for me. I am now looking into taking legal action. So the professionalism, the customer service ,the lifetime warranty on workmanship is out the window. I would never recommend this company to anybody. I was not completely satisfied with my fence at the completion of installation but still did not leave any reviews good or bad because I know a bad review can really hurt a business. I feel that now it is only right for me to share my story in hopes that I can help somebody else not fall victim to his poor workmanship.

I own a fence company in Georgia, Lawrenceville Fence Company, and I will visit Rip Off Report every now and then to view comments about consumers and their fence issues. why would you, or anyone else for that matter believe that a person, representing any kind of company, would stand behind a "lifetime warranty." I tell people all of the time, for example: A house will cost $500,000.00 dollars and they will get a 24 month warranty. Then they purchase a fence for $3,000.00 and get a "lifetime warranty"  --  does that make any sense? Of course not. How could a company stand behind a small fence project for life? They can't.

Also, why would any reasonable person expect a fence to withstand hurricane winds. That is insane to even discuss. I agree with the fence company, I think in this case the homeowner is simply wanting something for nothing.
