This company should not be in business. Mark, the owner, likes to make excuses of why my fence fell apart but what really went wrong was that he installed a top rail that was faulty and really did not click with the posts of my fence so when hurricane Sandy came part of the fence came down (the part with the dangerous and faulty rail) Mark will blame the hurricane, or the soil was not sturdy but at the end we both know that he was irreseponsible sqw the faulty rail and installed
it anyways.

Then he wanted more money to fix the problem and thru numerous phone tags and with a threat of taking this issue to other means, he decided to come and finish the job it started end of october and he finished december 12th!!! he has is an amateur and their is no reason why he should be doing business in NJ

Company is very unexperienced in what they do. they installed a fence  and part of the fence had a faulty top rail and the owner went ahead and installed it anyways. Mark the owner swears that the fence came down because of hurricane sandy but yet the only part that came down was the part with the faulty rail (the rest was intact) In another part they did not place cement and left huge holes in the ground.

it is dangerous and yet it looks bad and again the owner did not seem to really care for it and left it. I wish i would have not paid him until job was completely finished but lesson learned. after many unanswered calls and text Secure Fence responded and finally on december 12 the company finished the job that took about a month!!
Do not hire this company, they do not know what they are doing they have an F on the BBB rating and the overall experience was horrible for my daughter and dog because they could not be in the backyard because of the part that was down.

DO NOT BELIEVE THERE NEW B+ IN BBB. THEY WERE AN F AND BEHAVE LIKE AN F RATED COMPANY.

Homeadvisor.com is joke. I try report bad review and they reject it.

Contractors pay Homeadvisor.com.

Check him out with BBB.

Ask to see work he do. Better lose money to him then have him do his shitty work.

Response from owner of Secure Fence LLC

Our company has been in business for 10 years and our goal is to build and maintain strong relationships with every customer that we work with. Our reputation, customer service, and workmanship are the key factors that drive our business and we have been rewarded us over the past decade with solid relationships that have led to many referrals that make up the majority of our new business opportunities.

This was an isolated and extremely unfortunate circumstance as this customers fence was installed the week before Hurricane Sandy. Our company completed the project prior to the storm and we were paid by the customer as they were satisfied with the workmanship. When the storm hit this customer experienced ground saturation and wind damage just as many other homeowners did due to the magnitude of the unprecedented storm. It's been 8 months since the storm and we still receive a great amount of calls for repair work on fences that we never even installed! We met with the customer after the hurricane and were shown a post and panel that was leaning. We explained that this was due to the ground being over saturated which in turn makes the soil soft and when this is combined with high sustained winds it will cause the panel and post to lean. This is similar to why many of the trees in our area became up-rooted. This issue was by no means a reflection of workmanship, or a failure of the product. We felt for the customer as their new fence was just installed and in an effort to build a long lasting relationship we offered to handle the repair at half of the cost of our regular price but we were turned down.

Secure Fence has a reputation of top notch customer service which can be verified on the Homeadvisor.com web site where this customer found us. We make it a priority to be available, transparent, and attentive through every phase of the project and will continue to do so in the future. While the happiness of our customers is our main concern, it was not an option to repair this fence for free as the warranty did not cover damage due to the hurricane.

If an issue should present itself in the future we will be available to help.
