This company does not do anything that you cannot do for yourself.  They advertise that they stop forclosure and modify your loan.  Not true.  They will call the same mortgage company representatives that you have presumably been talking with and ask the same questions.  Then, at the last minute, they will contact you and direct you to file for bankruptcy and electronically send you bankruptcy filing documents that you could easily downloand online yourself.......all for 3 easy payments of $1000+!

If you cannot get your mortgage company to work with you, there is NOTHING that this lawfirm will/can do different with the exception of taking your money.

In my case, I refused to file bankruptcy (I pay them $1000 then they direct me to go to the courthouse, pay the filing fee, fill out all the paperwork, and represent myself.......kind of makes you wonder exactly what I paid them for).  I simply let the house go.  Their sole attempt to modify my mortgage and prevent foreclosure was to call the banks attorney (someone that I had already spoken with on numerous occasions) and call the lender (again something I had done on numerous occassions).

If you just want to give someone a bunch of money to do what you can or have already done, go ahead.  But don't expect any miraculous results.

We have helped thousands and could have helped him also

AUTHOR: Freeman Saxton - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 24, 2013

We have stopped foreclosures for and modified the mortgages of over 3000 clients since 2008, usually after the homeowner has attempted on their own or with another frm for months or even years without success before ultimately calling us.

This particular client is unhappy because he is one of the few clients for whom we recommended a last minute bankruptcy and he was unwilling to do so, even though there was sufficient time and his credit was already badly damaged by a history of missed mortgage payments. We only recommend this option when all else fails and the lender refuses to postpone a foreclosure sale. Despite working diligently using all available means, we can\not guarantee the actions of another party, such as a lender.

We unfortunately therefore have to recommend a temporary bankruptcy as a final legal tactic to stop a foreclosure in a very small minority of cases, currently around 1% of our clients facing foreclosure. His statement that we can do nothing to help is simply untrue as we have helped literally thousands of clients. He is drawing on his own experience and assuming that all clients have the same sorts of difficulties we experienced in his case. He certainly has no basis to speak about what other clients experiences have been as each case is unique and the details are protected by attorney-client privilege. Even in this client's case, we could have helped him had he taken our advice.
