I have a small loan with Security Finance this payment is due onece a month. However, they contact you anytime they feel free to to see when you would like to set up another payment. This was just paid last week and they are already calling.

When I told the girl that there would be another payment by the fist of the month she said would you like to make arrangements. I said I just told you that there would be another payment by the first week of the month and that there was just one made last Thursday.... the payment is $90 and I always pay atleast $100 to pay it off sooner. There is only like $300 owed on the account but still there is no need for them to call dailey, multiply times.

They always leave rude messages or act as though you are going to jail for not sending a payment (even when you are not late. They have even called and pretended to be a law office or someone with the courts to get me to call back. They go as far as to say this and that they are from Bartow county (were I live) and leave a Gordon county phone number (where they are)kind of dumb I think.

The girls(I will not call them Lady's because they are anything but)are not very educated or trained very well for there position. I have worked in the office most of my work life and I don't know of any office much less a financial office that will let people act the way they do. I am not sure what qualifications that you have to have to be employeed there. Obviously not alot from the way that they act.

Anyways after I hung up on the girl today that was being very rude. The "manager" called me back - after she was rude I hung up on her and didn't answer the phone back. Her message was "I know that you didn't just hang up on my employee and I'm sure that we just got disconnected. But your account is now under legal review and I will just have you sued. So of course this makes me furious. I called her back and tell her yes I did just hang up on your employee and guess what I did the same to you. I told her to go ahead and sue.....

From my understanding you have to be more than 30 days past due to be sued for something like this and they have to go thru more than that type of collection. Funny that the account isn't even 30 days past due. So how are they going to sue me?? If anyone knows let me know.

Being Articulate

AUTHOR: Djparrish - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 26, 2009

Andrea, if you want to appear articulate and intelligent enough to defend yourself against these people, you may want to consider using spell check and grammar check. To talk about the lack of education of the "ladies" who work at Security Finance, and yet to have such horrendous grammar yourself, really makes you seem like the guilty party here. Unfortunately, we live in a society where people are judged by their grammar and writing skills. After reading your complaint, I'd have to side with them.

Accused Security Finance of Harrassing

AUTHOR: Marilyn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 23, 2008

My roommate is a manager for Security Finance and has been in the business for over a decade. They have a system of staging late payments. Thirty days is not even a period of which they would even turn a loan over into any collection status, unless you were much later than even 2-3 months or more. Those type loan companies, especially during this economy, generally try to work with customers to get their money back plus some actual profits. If you had an agent and a manager who you felt was rude to you on the phone, you have the right to hang up on someone on the phone, as it is your telephone. I'm almost 50.

In all the years I've never done business with anyone who told me point blank that they were going to "sue me." It is my understanding Security Finance has been in business for over 50 years. A manager with them would have to have good enough customer service skills to know better than to talk that way over the phone. Perhaps you might want to go in and talk with them in person if you ever have problems with making payments and I'm sure they will be willing to work with you.

YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES TO IMPROVE HUMANITY

AUTHOR: Frank - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 08, 2007

REMEBER IF WE WANT T CHANGE THE WORLD WE NEED TO FIRST START WITH OURSELVES AND LOOK INSIDE TO SEE IF IMPROVEMENTS CAN BE MADE.

WE ALL CAN IMPROVE IF THE EMPLOYEE WAS RUDE TO YOU FIRST YOU DON'T THINK THE HUMAN THING TO DO IS TRY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, INSTEAD OF HANGING UP THE PHONE AND THEN YOU DID IT TWICE. INSTEAD OF TALKING TO THE PERSON THAT CAN HANDLE THE SITUTATION WITH THE RUDE EMPLOYEE YOU HUNG UP ON THE MANAGER!

EVERY LOAN COMPANY I DEALT WITH OR WORKED FOR THE COMPANY WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO WORK WITH THE CONSUMER AS LONG AS THE CONUMER WAS WILLING TO COMPROMISE!!

Thanks for letting us know about your appaling ways to ruin people's lives

AUTHOR: Dustin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 09, 2007

I have family that have taken loans from Security Finance, and we've always gotten along with them pretty well. Maybe it's just the office from where you are, and to the person that responded, maybe you'd be willing to let us know just what loan sharking company you work for? You've actually gone as far as suing people for simply hanging up on you?

Maybe you should tell us whether or not you we're being inhumanely rude to them before they hung up on you? I hope you realize that this is a website where people like you usually get what you deserve. You sir, are an embarassment to humanity, and obviously you know it, or else you would've signed on as something other than "asdf."

Rules for suing.

AUTHOR: Asdf - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 04, 2007

I work for a company similar to Security Finance. You don't have to be 30 days past due for them to sue you. They can start the process the day after you're due if the want to. The only reason they'd actually pay to sue you is if they don't think that they're getting their money any other way. And for their boss to authorize legal action there has to be reasonable proof that you aren't willing to work with them. IE, you hanging up on them and refusing to answer the phone. Heck, yeah, I'd sue, and have sued, someone for hanging up on me. Generally these are 60 or 90 day accounts, but it all means the same: that you aren't willing to work with them.
