My wife Mary and I signed a Security One alarm monitoring agreement on January 15th 2009 salesmens name was Ali Phone #310-910-3201. Ali the salesman then explained that the contract would be lowered to 39 months he changed the number of payments for the original term from 60 months to 39 months. Ali crossed out 60 Months and added 39 Months. He also lowered the amount of each payment from $47.99 to $42.99. However I have been paying $43.99 per month. Safe Home Security. INC 55 Sebethe Dr. Cromwell CT.06416-1016 Billing Inquires # 800-833-3211 for repairs service # 800-833-3211 payment is for 3 months in the amount $131.97.

A technician came out shortly after we signed the contract to install the alarm. He punched a large hole through the wall in the kitchen which was the wrong place to install the box because it could be ripped off the wall to stop the alarm in case of a break-in . The alarm quit working a few weeks after the installation it  took a little over a  month to get the installer back to replace a battery. They promised us a Carbon Monoxide detector which took several months to get.

Setting the alarm will not turn on  the motion detectors. The sensor is placed right above the kitchen  door which covers the living room, jumping up and down and waving my hand in front of it nothing happens.
Then there was a mistake and the company auto pay system they took two months of payments out of my checking account the same month this double pay took me approximately two months to get straighten out.

Safe Home Secure. Auto Pay collected double for month of January  $42.99 on 1/18/2011 again on 1/19/2011 $42.99 Total $85.98 for the month of January 2011. they made numerous promises to correct the problem however the mistakes was always on my Bank statement

No Check Received As Promised Complaint # 3  still not corrected

Phone call 9:45 February 2. 2011. We requested to be taken off auto pay in effort to prevent future mistakes. We were promised we would be taken off auto pay effective February 2. 2011.

Numerous calls were  made in effort to get the mistake corrected. I advised them I will cut a check each month all I
wanted was for Security One to keep their promise. I was advised the double billing would be corrected on 1/20/201. I called again on January 27, 2011 the charge was still on my account . My wife Mary was informed on January 28, that a check was in the mail for $85.98, no deposits were made to my bank account. Once again more broken promises.

Numerous calls were made in effort to get the mistake corrected. they would not keep their promise. I was advised the double billing would be corrected on  Jan 20, 2011. I called again on January 27 2011 the charge is still on my account. Several months ago the battery went out on my alarm, I was down several days, We was promised  a free month to make up for the down time. We never received the free month. I don't believe any promises Security One makes.

I was surprised when I received a call the first week of February The caller stating I needed to I extend my service
agreement in order to be monitored the lady advised me my contract was about to expire on March 15, 2012. I informed her at that time that  I was not going to extend my contract. That is when I started looking for other security companies., The main question in my mind if the caller knew my contract was almost expired, Why did Bonnie claimed I would be required to pay for one more year?

After I decided to go with ADT I made several phone calls and sent several faxes to cancel service effective April 1 2012. Bonnie from Security One her Phone # 800-833-3211 Ext 1108 Fax # 860-262-4012 Stated she never received my faxes. I find that very strange.

My contract was signed after Ali Phone 310-910-3201,made it very clear the changes were ok with Security One. I am
sure Security One Has the Original Contract with the changes made by the salesman.  Mary and I signed the agreement thinking the original copy would go to the company especially since he insisted on auto bank payment each month. Ali explained Security One had a special promotion for a limited time which allowed him to lower the monthly payments from $47.99 to $42.00.also lowering the normal 60 months to 39 months. We had no reason to believe he took it upon himself to make the changes. Since the company would get the original copy in order to set up the auto pay from my Bank account..  Mary and I would not have signed the contract for 90 months knowing most Security Alarm systems only require a two year agreement. We have the contract on file. We are sure Security has the Original Copy showing the expiration date of March 15th 2012. I don't know what Bonnie is trying to prove. I know one thing she is proving that Security One is one company to avoid, they are not honest and they have proven they don't keep their promise. It is obvious when a contract is signed everyone involved gets a copy. We all know Security One has the original copy what are they trying to prove. It is also obvious Security One Knew The number of payments was lowered from 60 months to 39 also the monthly payments were lowered from $47.99 to $ 42.00. Security one knew when the Auto Bank Payments were setup they were lower than the OriginalContract Stated. Why would I receive a Call in early February requesting I
extend My contract in order for me to continue monitoring. That sound very strange to me.

Cancel Service effective April 1st 2012 was submitted 3 Times. also 4 phone calls were made advising Security one my contract had expired on March 15 2012 I find it very strange that I received a phone call from  Security One the first week in February stating my contract would be up on March 15 requesting I extend my contract. If they wanted to extend my contract why is Bonnie asking me to pay for one more year before I can cancel my service.  I refused the caller I advised her I would definitely not extend my contract.

Bonnie advised me today per phone call approximately 3:15 she had not received my cancelation notices. According to the alarm monitoring agreement signed January 15, 2009. My Contract is on file and expired March 15th 2012?
I explain to Bonnie Phone # 1-800-833-3211 Ext 1108 Fax 1-860-262-4012 that there was absolutely no chance that I would extend my agreement with them, She  explained to me that I could pay for the one more year and get out of the contract. My original agreement has an expiration date on March 15th 2012. When I informed her that I had made numerous attempts to cancel my service she became very hostile belligerent stating that I would be required to pay one more year after the contract had expired. This is certainly not good business.
