These people are thieves! Mr. Gold (if that's his real name) hid like a little girl when I called him recently. My calls were rejected when I call his extension. The sorry claims department simply followed a poorly written script then placed you on hold for days, just to be transferred to someone's voice mail.
I waited four months for have my Jacuzzi blower to be replaced. After denying my covered claim, I was told to find a repair tech myself and they would reimburse me if the work was covered, which it was. I didn't hear from Mr. Gold for a month after I submitted the paid invoice so I called, again. He claimed that he forwarded the info to be approved, a month ago. Strangely, two days later I receive an email denying my claim because "Jets" aren't covered in my policy. I never said anything about the jets malfunctioning.
I cancelled my policy for which I paid for two years of coverage. Something I should have done when the dishwasherwent out and they wanted to replace it for $150.00. This was my first encounter with Mr. Gold. He made a statement about approving a larger amount because we "didn't seem like scammers" because we paid up front for a two year policy. They are the scammers! For the amount we paid, I could have bought a new dishwasher, replaced the Jacuzzi blower and still had money in my pocket!
