Select Home Warranty Ripped me off. Just offered $80 for a $450 claim and said: "Take it or leave it." Nationwide

Select Home Warranty is an unethical company that does not stand behind the home warranty policy that they sell you.  When you file a claim they drag it out the settlement for months and months in the hope that you will simply drop it.  When that doesn't work they simply offer you a very low settlement compared to the amount you claimed and essentially just say: "Take it or leave it."  

I filed two legitimate claims, one for $295 and the other for $450 and finally after months and months they offered me $80 for each of the claims.  I don't think that there is anyway that you can get this company to honor your claims fairly and reasonably. They have a great sales pitch, but they don't live up to it.
