I ordered glasses from this company, and when they arrived, the lenses were bulky and unflattering.  They were nothing like the extra money I paid to get ultra-thinned, double-aspheric lenses. My prescription is not the best; however, I am well aware of how thin or thick it may be made.  These lenses were ridiculously thick, despite the company's claims that they were 1.74 index.

When I tried contacting the company about a return and refund, I discovered that they are only available via email.  There is no phone customer service line whatsoever.  Through email exchange, I was told I would have to pay to ship the glasses back on my own dime, and only then would they assess if I was entitled to a refund.  I spent 289 on the glasses, then I spent an additional 30 dollars to ship them from the U.S. to the U.K.

After finally hearing back from SelectSpecs, which I only did after posting a negative review, they informed me that regardless of how the glasses look or how I see through them, they would not provide me a refund on the lenses, only the frames, nor would they provide me ANY refund on my shipping costs for returning the glasses. 

Regardless of anything the company says, BEWARE THAT THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.  This company is not concerned with customer satisfaction; they are only concerned with customer money. 

As I have ordered online glasses before, I thought that SelectSpecs too had an honorable return policy - they do not.  At no time, prior to my returning the glasses, did the SelectSpecs representative state that all prescription glasses sales are final and the shipping costs would solely be covered by the consumer.

As a consumer, my advice to you is to order from one of the other, more reputable companies; many also offer designer frames at the same or lesser value.  If a company refuses to honor refunds or returns, under any circumstances, or does not provide a satisfaction guaranteed policy on a medical device, you have to wonder.  As it currently stands, I will simply have to flush 200 dollars down the drain and get new lenses from a trustworthy optician once my pair is returned. Save yourself the headache!
