Steve Goff is going around the DFW Metroplex scamming real estate students.  He used to work for Trump University as a seminar pitchman.  He uses great sales tactics to get students to sign up for his $25,000 program.  He promises to be a mentor to his students but after he gets the money, you can barely reach him.

If you do reach him, he is pissed off that you actually called him with questions.  I and countless others in DFW gave this man our money and he is easily the worst mentor anyone can have. All he does is goes around town trying to do seminars and get more students to give him money.  He will not provide mentoring so do not give this man your money.

He will not return your calls or emails if you do not have a deal to split with him.  He is a great salesman but a scam artist mentor. You will regret it like the other students in DFW.

About Steve Goff

AUTHOR: EPS - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, December 12, 2011

Currently there are about 7 students in DFW that signed up with Mr. Goff's $25,000 program back in the Spring 2011.  Guess how many he still mentors? NONE.  We all agreed to a 1 year mentoring agreement back in the Spring 2011 but he has not contacted us in months.  In fact, one student quit his job b/c he was sold by Mr. Goff that he would appear on TV with Mr. Goff this Fall.  Well, that never happened as well.

In fact, many of us have not heard from him since September.

Again, do not give Steve a dime of your money.  You will regret it.  He will sell you on himself and the same 300 deals he did 4-5 years ago back at Trump University but he will NOT follow through on mentoring you.  He doesn't care about mentoring people!  He cares about selling himself for hire.

Now, he is trying to go nationwide with his brother pitching their program but he has failed to keep his word and commitment to his students in DFW.  In fact, he even accused his students of breaking in his place while he living in DFW.

You will be much better off investing your money on deals and local mentors...you will get a greater return.

To Whom it May Concern:

In response to the above complaint, I am posting the letter that I wrote to all of my student / partners last evening. In the last 14 years of being in the REI business, this is the ONLY complaint of this nature that I have ever had. It is my hope that my track record of successful and happy students will speak for itself if this letter does not.

Good evening.

There is something weighing on my mind that I feel I need to communicate to each of you. On September 7, 2011 a complaint was lodged against me on the website ripoffreport.com. The complaint was written by a person who claimed to be a student partner of mine in the DFW metroplex who has paid me for a $25,000 mentorship program.

Among other things, it claims that I sold programs to countless students in the area and failed to make good on the terms of our agreement. It says that I am extremely hard to reach, and when I finally do answer the phone, I act like I am pissed off that I am being bothered. This is a ridiculous claim- if for no other reason, I am making 50% of every deal that is made why on earth would I not return phone calls?! Even if I was NOT making a percentage, I entered into an agreement with you, making myself available; if you ever feel like you are not having your calls or emails returned in a timely manner, PLEASE tell me, because your successes are my successes, and I will do everything in my power to make sure you are happy with our partnership.

I have a total of 7 student partners in the area, (not the countless numbers that this person claims) and have the same essential program for each of you. I have not asked that you pay me the full amount up front; instead, you have each put
down an initial installment, and are not required to pay me another dime if you do not make money from the techniques that I teach within the first year. All but 3 of you have deals in the works, one of the other 3 was just recently trained, another has had no luck finding leads yet, and the other made back 40% of what he paid me within the first 90 days of our partnership. To date, none of you have paid me the full $25,000 like this person claims to have done.

When I made the agreement with you, I promised to be available in person up to 4 days per month, so I moved into an investment property in Garland, TX in order to make myself readily available to fulfill this promise. I had to be out of town last week, and while I was gone, the house in Garland was broken into and everything in it was stolen. This actually happened on the same day that the ripoff complaint was lodged. While I am not making any accusations, the police
seem to think that the two acts are most likely linked, and should be contacting you in the next week or so to ask questions. If you have any knowledge that might possibly lead to the discovery of the person responsible, please tell them.

After I get this break-in wrapped up with the police, I will be handing it over to my attorneys, and dont really want to think about it anymore. I just want to move forward in a positive manner with each of you. In the meantime, I would like to
speak to each of you in person, just to make sure you are happy with the way things are going individually, so please call me at your earliest convenience.

For obvious reasons (no furniture left in the house to sit on), I will be moving back to Austin, but will still be available to you. I will require a little more notice when scheduling days to work with you in person, so please try to be patient, and know that I will try to accommodate everyones schedule the best that I can.

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

Steve
